Great video! My transcription wasn't quite acurate as I'm transcribing a song where I isolated the lyrics using the Vocal Isolation feature. I can't for the life of me figure out how to adjust the timing of the transcription after I edit the words. Any ideas?

Thank you Mark! Love the amount of detail and explanation. Extremely helpful. Just a follow up question: Would it be best to convert the library and project to HDR(HLG) and color grade the SDR clips? OR best to keep the project and library SDR and apply the HDR effect? tomato / tomahto ?

let's see all the improvements that Apple will make or has made to fcpx if you don't have a Mac m2 or higher it's useless... well too bad, we'll continue with premiere... I don't have to spend money on the latest Mac model, I have a 2020 iMac and it works fine with davinci and with premiere.

Remarkable to see how much we have similar taste in cameras. I too work with a Sony mirrorless camera, iPhone (need to update to a Pro model soon) Insta360 X4, GoPro Hero (I still use the 11 because of built in GPS), RS3Pro and many of the same accessoires. Those lense clamps to remove the filters is a really good idea. And that extra bright LED light is nice and compact. Do you use the SSD's for the iPhone recordings too?

Does each phone then have to capture its own Video to an external drive or can this set up allow for all the cameras to be recored to the single drive hooked up to the ipad

Each phone must capture its own independent movie - and it stores it on the iOS device inside the app.

"Smooth slo-mo" isn't an option for me. Couldn't find any answers on google or apple as to why, but you guys answered it! "Must be running 10.8 on a mac with silicon". Thank you!

Hey Steve and Mark! I'm having an emergency! I need to make DVD's for a dance recital with chapter marks in FCPX but when I try and export through Share/DVD, everything works as advertised but in the "settings" part of the output process, where the Preview thumbnail is, there is NO "Main Menu" or "Chapter Menu" buttons under the thumbnail. FCPX is not recognizing the chapter marks I put on the timeline. Yes, the chapter marks I made are indeed chapter marks and not just markers, they are orange. Can you tell me why it's not acknowledging the chapter marks I made and not including them when I try and create a disk image? BTW, I've tried this on FCPX ver. 10.7 and on my old computer with FCP ver. 10.4.8. Thanks!!

Oh, and by the way, I'm trying this in Compressor as well and even making markers inside of Compressor and those are orange too but it's not allowing me to have a chapters menu either.

I wish I could help. I have not burned a DVD in over 12 years. From what I understand chapter markers are only meant for QuickTime movie exports not m2v files which are required for DVDs. I would consider using a third party app like Toast, which I believe allows you to add them.

@@rippleguys Thanks so much for the reply. I haven't burned a DVD in forever but as soon as you stick your nose into recording a dance recital, you got parents/grandparents wanting DVD's. 😖

@@ParamotorSteve My sister runs a dance studio in Los Angeles. Instead of DVDs she puts QuickTime movies on small flash drives for selling physical copies, and puts them on Vimeo that includes a download link - so the sell point is great - buy a flash drive and also get a link on Vimeo to share with people who don't have the flash drive.

@@rippleguys For this performance, my offerings were USB flash drive, online through mediazilla and DVD. The school's owner asked that I include DVD in the offering. While most people want the USB, there was still about a third who still want DVD.
