Syncing Audio & Video in Davinci Resolve for iPad

I do use Resolve on the iPad. As an old (Since version 3) FCP user I decided, when Resolve launched on the iPad, to learn Resolve. Your training did the trick! I also know how to get all the pages - learned that one when Resolve for the iPad came out! I’m using Resolve on the latest 12.9 with the M2 chips. At least I can layout clips, do some editing, color work, etc., them bring into the desktop version of Resolve. I use the Studio version on both the iPad and iMac. Now if only Apple would allow to edit FCP on the iPad from an external drive…….I won’t use the iPad version until they do that. I’m out going to load up gigs of files on my iPad only to transfer them eventually.

I think if I wanted to use Resolve or Final Cut on the go, I'd just get a laptop so I could use the real thing. Enough of this iPad business, wake me up when it's available for the 2012 iPod Touch. BTW I disabled the CUT page on my Resolve (real computer version). It just seemed redundant. Maybe a video explaining why someone would want to use the CUT page over EDIT?

Do you know if DR for ipad version has elastic wave audio retime on it like the desktop version? If so how do I get into it?

For Resolve for iPad, Edit, can you then create a compound clip of the synced clip in the Edit tab that shows up in the browser?

No need. Just unlink the reference audio, delete it, then link the stereo audio to the video by selecting them and pressing Command-Option-L

I don't understand. Why did you synch twice, doesn't the recording from the camera contain linked video and (scratch) audio?

I showed 2 methods to sync - on convoluted, one not I hopefully did not convey that you need to sync twice. The recording from the camera does contain reference otherwise I would not be able to sync in either page.
