Hi, what yarn do you use?

I love this cotton is mercerized. Last time I bought it was 100% cotton. Unless you get the one with tinsel, I think it should be heat safe.

Do you do your yarn under first for every stitch, including bobbles, slip stitches and special stitches or just on the single crochet? And do you also yarn under to do the magic ring? Thank you your videos are very helpful.
