I’m lucky to crochet one item a day. I could never imagine doing that much in 10 hours. The cats all turned out great but I think the first one is my favorite.

Yes! I use my daughter’s Boppy. I think it’s better stuffed than the pillows made for crocheting.🤷🏻♀️

I'm so glad you added in the part about being in pain and needing a break. Its so important to listen to your body. People need to know, especially new to crochet that 10 hours strait is not normal and to listen to their body and take breaks

6mm is my fave for loaf cats...I don't have Bernat over in the UK but works nice tight stitches for Hobbii Baby Snuggles, Honey Bunny or Toucan

Yes, about the Bernat blanket yarn! Just noticed today at Walmart how different colour have different textures. Some are softer and squishier while others feel more dense (which I find harder to work with - it's like the yarn doesn't glide as nicely). I'm still pretty new to this crochet/amigurumi thing..🙄

6 mm hook for the win! That's what I use for my cats too 😺also, a hard yes on the Bernat textures. I try to pick out the really soft ones, because some are so scratchy and honestly a pain to work with. I recommend trying the plush or baby bear from big twist too! those are great

Hello! I LOVE yours videos! Really, asking yourself to crochet with BLANKET yarn for 10 straight hours is NOT a good thing!😉😄So I'm very happy you choose to take breacks, go outside , move a little bit, eat, etc. If you cant crochet cuz you''re hurting, nobody is winning!!!! Honestly, I’ve wondered the same thing! Because they take just as long as the other ones. They do use less materials though, so I’d maybe price them $5 ish cheaper than the larger ones

I don't think so. Personally l also don't really work with chunky yarn. Never wrong to experiment. Also i think using a thinner yarn would give more details to your work

no, i have made and sold many, many plushies and amigurumi out of non-blanket yarn. It does really well, and it works great to mix up your inventory and textures of items that you have!
