love the editing on this man, am currently getting Bs and Cs at A-level but am aiming for As in my A-levels... (pray for me) this video has definitely helped me focus my attention on just improving rather than wallowing in fear of getting the grind started. Will hopefully update with my results in the summer (if i remember and if i actually did well lol)

that wasn't useful at all. u only show 1 switch and u dont even tell us what it is, it sounded terrible to me esp the spacebar...does that mean I shouldn't even bother with the other 10 minutes of poetry? cause it felt more like poetry than useful information to me. You dont give me a reason not to think that.

At first I didn't know what the test was. GCS But after watching your video I started to understand that this is my first year in a foreign school. I am 11 year old. I did not know the lessons here because the curriculum I studied is different from the curriculum I studied here. Your clip also helped me.

I’ve always been considered academically gifted like id never revise but still get the best marks however that means that now in yr11 i have no idea how to start revising which was a main factor in my grades dropping to 7’s and 8’s in my yr 10 mocks. This was very helpful as teachers say what not to do when revising like reading text books but never how to actually revise productively and I feel far more confident with revising thanks to this video so thank you so much!

I wish i could give this video multiple likes! I especially love the section about not letting yourself be influenced by others and doing things at your own pace. Im currently at the start of year 11 and struggle with motivation and revising although im predicted 7-9s, and other people with the same predicted grades always seem so much more organised than me which stresses me out. So I really appreciate the reminder that everyones doing their own thing, and i definitely will keep this in mind next year at college, thanks :)

The writing notes part is so damn true like during gcses i made notes for every single little detail bcz my teachers always said to WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING but i never ended up looking back at those even before exams. Not repeating the same mistake rather just mark down the important stuff from the textbook or print down pretty notes online its so much better this way

how would u recommend dealing with a terrible teacher, like Im now yr 12 and my biology teacher is actually THE WORST hes your typical 'textbook teacher' he really doesnt teach anything but rather hands us a textbook and questions expecting us to teach ourselves

Some weeks will be ridiculously stressful so stay on top of lectures when you can + ask the older years for advice! On a brighter note it’s still possible to have a life outside of dentistry :)

Cant underestimate the free period tip, I was basically the only person who actually used my frees throughout year 12 especially before my end of years, I got 3 A* predicted whilst most of them got predicted C’s at most

I know this is random but I really need some advice regarding my a level subjects.. I got pretty low grades in maths and physics and I really want to continue studying them.. is it possible for me to catch up and good final grades for a level with 5s in gcse?

the difference is really big from igcse and A levels tbh if u got 5s in igcse u def have to change ur ways to be able to get good grades in A levels but it really depends on YOU, also maths and physics A levels isnt the easiest telling u from experience it needs alot of practice and solving, but obviously with the correct mindset and mentality u can do it.

@@Rxxzia This is the thing tho, your calling yourself dumb and trying to put your self on a lower level because you only got "5s" and above that your saying that you want to "ace the easy subjects" which dosnt help at all. If i were you i would genuinely sit down and ask myself, if i really want to do maths and physics and if im ready to struggle and work my ass off to get the grades in them. If the answer is yes then go for it, if your 6th form/college allow you to proceed with the course great if not maybe you should try speak with them.

@@Rxxzia its not about the subjects its about what u want to be, u gotta actually sit down and think for a min about what u enjoy and what do u want, after getting that set u have to see what subjects u need for that THEN u can see if u can or not get good grades in these subjects, obv its not late to change ur ways and actually getting better at these even if u had a bad start, but you know your self best if u really want to take maths and physics or atleast u have to take it for the career u want and u believe in ur self absolutely do ur best and u will be rewarded for ur hardwork
