I like alloy wheels but your prices are really okay for carbon rims. Maybe in the future I'll try them. But do you sell them single? Because I have a Stumpjumper Mullet with 29" and 27.5" wheels. I also want gold decals, is that possible?

FINALLY!! I've been in search for carbon kids bikes since the day my daughter was born...just in time, she's eight now and I hope I can manage to keep her interested in the classic lithium free muscle grease way of cycling...you made my hopes rise again, thanks! What exactly don't you like about the chain ring on the crank set! Usually I agree but this one actually looks pretty nice and seems to be anodised Aluminium...Infected flesh wounds on 8 year old legs are worse to look at..

Hey thanks for the comment! That’s awesome! Yeah I’m not a big fan of e-bikes personally, to each his own. If you would like to talk more you can reach out at [email protected]. Yes you can use the ring, I just don’t like the guard on it, with a narrow wide it’s not needed and just doesn’t look great and provide as easy access to the chain.

It's good to see there's real people behind the brand and that the people are invested in their product an aim to continually improve it. For me it all starts with your frames. Reliable and comparable to the name brand frames. Real frame weights, weighed live on video. Cross-Country mountain bikes are my main interest. Mainly full suspension but always need to have at least one hardtail.

Carbon is not too stiff with the right build. Straight spokes and 32 spokes can be crazy stiff. Also, assym is very stiff. A symmetrical set of carbon rims with double-butted bladed spokes, 28 or less, feels very nice and compliant.

Into five to 15 minutes I'm already getting bored get to the point Now everybody has money like that to talk about a product and the manufacturers do good in some parts of the product and keep out on others So one of them is the wheels and the employer example free hub is still on a lot of bikes versus cassette hubs I mean you would think you spend more than $600 on the bike you will lease get some cassette hubs next free hubs and bikes that are a thousand dollars to say five thousand dollars still have external routing of brake lines in gear lines but do you go to another store and get a $300 bike and this guy internal routing Was it with that

I see carbon frame's cracking all the time,, but I rarely seen carbon wheel's cracking,, maybe carbon is better in circles than triangles etc i Guess it's easier to design rims with continues fibers when it's not much details.. anyways I want to build strong bike's for heavy hard rider's that is low maintenance so you can have a couple of bikes without always having to fix one.. I have two emtb's very rarely are both in good enough shape so I can bring a friend and just go on a day trip in the Mountain with just a pocket tool ..i feel like many parts are made to break so you will continuously upgrade your bikes until the frame is outdated and then it's finally good... but I guess if I just had a really good wheel set i could just switch but no They will change up the width 110 148 boost is only now it's really no way to keep up

Great vid guys, a good break down of the plethora of options. I’ve got some Magic Pro Carbon’s I need to upgrade and when I do I hope to buy a set from you. Questions, no one believes me, but three shops have been witness. Beading tires on these wheels are beyond a pain. They are almost void of use due to how difficult they can be. Can you shed light on how difficult your wheels are to bead on?
@DIYCarbonBikes
@DIYCarbonBikes 3 жыл бұрын
We have not heard from customers or experienced difficulty beading. It can be tight, but if one pushes the bead all to the middle, it helps.

Derek, just about every single carbon wheel is made in China outside of ENVE. The issue isn’t China, they have perfected the carbon process as 99% of the carbon market is in China. Our rims are manufactured in the factory of the major brands, with the same testing and quality control. We back it up with a warranty and have been selling wheels for 7 years now with a very small warranty rate that only involved small cracks, as to be expected in rare cases. Our wheels are affordable, high performing, and quality. We encourage you try our product before you make generic unfounded claims about them :)

What I've figured is that a bike is actually just the frame alone, and then parts are mounted to it. Just a few changes can make a completely different experience, and then we're all of a sudden into custom, except most people wouldn't consider it as such. They see a frame with a name on it, and thus, that's what bike it is. Well, I'd say strip it down to frame only, and that's what bike it is. Add parts again and then it is this, that or what ever bike + these are the parts I choose to use with this bike. If I had a Honda motorcycle, at least I know I could go to a Honda dealer and get any original part for that particular bike, if they of course are not discontinued. When will the bike industry follow... Secondary options are good to have, it's just with a bicycle most of these are primary options - There *_is_* a difference.
