Smart move, Ty. DCB deserves more online exposure. All of the 5 items I have purchased are outstanding. 👍👍

Buying a set of integrated aero bar and stem from DiyCarbon was a huge mistake. First off the bars I received did not match what the site photos looked like. That was okay because they seemed fine. However, the advertised reach was 77mm and I made the mistake of building this bike up including routing new hydraulic brake lines, without measuring it. After the first ride it didn’t feel right and I found the reach was actually 122mm. That’s an entire hand size too long! I reached out to Ty, the Owner, with photos and his response was that the stem size was correct, but he made no mention of the reach. It seemed like he didn’t actually understand what reach is. I own eight bikes, 4 of those are drop bar bikes and I’ve been riding and racing for over 30 years, I kind of know a little bit about bike sizing a geometry. I responded a second time with photos using a digital caliper and I still have not heard anything from him. I think I’ve been ghosted and I’m out about $200. So my recommendation is do not order from this company.

It's good to see there's real people behind the brand and that the people are invested in their product an aim to continually improve it. For me it all starts with your frames. Reliable and comparable to the name brand frames. Real frame weights, weighed live on video. Cross-Country mountain bikes are my main interest. Mainly full suspension but always need to have at least one hardtail.

Seeing physical examples of your builds and testing would be awesome. Smashing a DCB frame and wheel set down some trails would be the best way to affirm people that these things are legit

‘How to’s’ would be helpful as well. I want to build a carbon bike. My first questions are around what should I buy. The second questions are how do I put it together. I totally agree with you though. Your brand will explode on KZbin. You should be hammering videos and then ads on other DIY pages. The DIY space is fueled by KZbin.
