Find local business, big or small that would allow a parking lot skid pad layout. Organize Kind of like a little drift festival, get local business and local food vendors involved. Maybe make it spectator and ride along geared. The businesses get to promote cool shit, we get to drift.

I am drift masters fan and I think every drift masters fan wants to keep the tyres as big and sticky as possible, and the cars as 1000+ hp monsters. There are plenty of lower more accessible leagues. (atleast in Europe) People want to see the best of the best in drift masters.

Chelsea is the best spokesman for drifting or just driving in general. So beautifully said when he says he’s “driving for the last 20%” because that really means a lot. A show is 2 cars driving at 80% safe and sound, but when Chelsea goes on the track you know you’re about to see 100% and it means the world. Man is the absolute best Drifting Ambassador we could ever have. So much respect he has earned. 🫡

As a newbie drifter in the scene I'd say it's the toxic attitudes and wankers ruining it. Sure most people are great but for some reason it's a few people that are either reps for brands, own shops, run drift events and/or are apart of the drift community in someway. I've been looking upto some people and companies prior to entering the scene but upon getting in to learn the ropes as a beginner I was shocked by how some of these people would treat others, look down on beginners, talk crap about other people etc... The petty school yard crap just doesn't seem to stop unfortunately....that's life.

In my opinion to chelse question he said 3 out of 4 people would gravitate if they seen drifting i just don't see it i think maybe 1 out of 4 would you can't even tell if the driver did good or bad or who wins

I remember when driftting comps started here in New Zealand and you could rock up with a A31 Cefiro with a RB20DET lock diff and some budget coil overs and actually be competitive ,Many moons ago we would watch Japanese mountain drifting and we sorta had alot of the same roads in the hills that we would go drifting late at night with the skills we saw from the drift Bible ,i loved it in the rain as it was easier on the car

I honestly feel like there is a lot more that could be done to ask the lead driver in competition drifting to do, that would make it much easier to judge and make it much easier to chase. Drifting would be easy more exciting and way more audience friendly. Especially the growing audience in extreme sports which is almost becoming main stream.

Those moments on track with the other drivers, everyone getting pumped up and driving on the knife’s edge together is what made me instantly addicted to drifting, and why I decided to get into the hobby at 40 years old. Competition is fun to see how you stack up, but for me the memories with the homies is way more important!

I enjoy these conversations and I’ve heard in the past what I’m about to bring back up. Aaron has brought it up in videos. The economy has a lot to do with what ppl can do with a budget. A lot of ppl do not want to physically buy another car to go drifting and then buy tools and then do the maintenance upkeep. Entry level these days can be Xbox with a Logitech wheel setup on Forza. Upgrade later to a Moza wheel setup with handbrake and such. Maybe a decent computer with Assetto Corsa. It’s a cheap entry fee for gear and no buyers remorse into it on the pricing. Traditional Motorsport is a money losing sport. 98% of the time. By the time you get money back on investment…you are probably burnt out. If you wanna grab the youth mindset has to change. Use that technology to our advantage

I have a family who come first and unfortunately can’t go physically drifting with a car. My only option is to just build an awesome sim set up and have fun at different tracks online at night while the family sleeps. 😂😂 Forza Motorsport 7 I am upgrading this winter to a Moza Setup. I am starting to teach my young daughter about racing and she is starting to do slides around the track. Eventually drifting.

two lots of people who would have been disappointed by him quitting FD, James Deane would have liked to have battled him in equal cars, and the FD owners would be disappointed this huge name in FD quit. I like Chelsea is looking how else drifting can evolve like how moto cross. What annoys me about Chelsea, he never says, the other guy was just better, its always something else the car the tire etc etc, he's got the classic motor sport driver attitude of if everything goes well with the car and conditions I'd win every round, or when he says I doored him the whole way around but he didn't. Ok also he throws backies in tandoms but its not going to give a very hard chase for the other guy, and yes chelsea has a his opinion, but it might not be great overall to watch, Qual single runs great, looks great but can't tandom. Big ups on the porche and doing something different and the big style, its not so black and white I think, backies cool yep hard to chase yep.

Chelsea is definitely an Icon for American Drifting His driving style, and aggression, which even after getting on to RTR still drove the mustang like they were his own bmws back in the day. He's always just 100% from start to finish, and I think most of us loved that. He's always pushed the envelope, never holds back on or off the track (lol) I still want him to do a full tilt suspension tuning break down

comps should pay more, drivers shouldn't have to rely so much on their partners, the organization needs to make sure that funding is there for the drivers (not specific to any organization they're probably all lacking) the comp can't happen without drivers so that's where the orgs money should go... and they should be responsible for making sure they have enough sponsors or tickets sales to pay the drivers.

Watching FD, it seems like the announcers are trying to judge the runs as they happen and see things, at times, totally different than what the judges actually see. The commentators make it much more confusing and generate a LOT of undue drama with their contradictory or incorrect observations...

Aaron be aaron, he at least knows he is, like asking 10 questions in a row, who 'll remember them all. And then interrupt them, he did less here. Progress if not perfection Aaron, well done you. Great insightful question asking how will he create his own media stardom now when before it was sort of handed to him once he got to rtr

I like the idea of a big drift week as well going around the cities maybe shutting down like a road like how they used to do in Detroit but also add in some like dirtbike jumps or something like that to attract more of a crowd kinda like how they’re talking about Travis Pastran‘s thing so you kinda have like a big show where it’s like drifting maybe some sort of little competition that all ties to Drift week. I really enjoy listening to these pod casts things while driving as that’s what I do for a living. Iam not illiterate, iam using talk text lol.
