Nice, honestly I would for the price just get a billet mazworx vq block. Throw it in any chassis, and the blocks proven to have already ran 6s on the strip. No r & d just vq happiness.

It was built and they had Robbie join the team to drive it. Then Robbie decided to retire so they hired kazuya join the team. Kazuya did okay in the car but then they ended up building their current 86 around kazuya. Now the car kinda just sits. I think they had it out for fun things a couple of times. And i believe Robbie has skid it around once since then too.

Anyone know what happened with the old Hankook tyre GTR when these were very new? I remember the buld on some forum many years ago. I think Robbie also drove that but it wasnt very competitive at the time

I can see it being risky business. What he needs is a driver. But a driver wants to run a car he’s hopefully familiar with. And not many would be familiar with a GTR. And the last thing the builder wants is a noob to destroy his high-dollar GTR. So yeah it all comes down to build / maintainance cost. And these are so cool! But too simply too expensive for most… sad.
