Thank you for being the first reviewer of this chainsaw that actually treats the tool with the respect it deserves and wears safety gear. Gloves could be a nice touch, but bravo for your video.

I have a Snap Fresh 20 V leaf Blower. the batt is a BBT-DC20A Li-ion 2.0Ah . It just sat for months and now doesn't even show on the BBT-YFT20V Charger that came with it. I was gonna borrow a DeWalt 20 V from someone ti "jump start" but just read on Google that not compatible. I don't want t buy a $40 battery just to jump the old one. Any clues. was thinking of jumping straight off the charger but the terminals are marked "-" (neg) and Dc+ reads 20v DC with a fluke meter but don't want to blow it up or mess up the internal parts. tried to get a used one to charge up and use for my jumper but can't find one..any help would be appreciated

I have a dewalt 60v flex volt that only charges to only one of the 3 lights on the indicator? It works but when I recharge it, it goes to the first light and stops? Thanks

Switching an led bulb on and off a lot doesn't hurt it. It hurt CFLs, and incandescent bulbs though. In fact using them in places where they aren't used much lengthen their life.

Q: Is an interlock switch legal in Canada? A: NO. You can only have one in the open position at a time or closed position, but they're mounted to the front cover. In Canada, these are not permitted because you can just take the cover off and then now the transfer scheme, the interlock is actually defeated.

Light switch and lightbulb description, not helpful at all. Not sure if the tool usage is when these items are on a bench or live and connected. Would help to have both connected and shown as such. FYI.

Thank you! Great solution. I have a family member that is very stubborn that is connecting lights outside with indoor cords. He became irate when I disconnected things and said I'd go buy some outdoor cords in the morning. It was raining and he was using an indoor power connector and indoor dollar store cords. Reconnected everything. Very immature individual but dad to my 3 grandkids. He has a thing about Christmas and lights which is ok if safely done. I'm not a "Karen" so will quietly rectify the situation...I worry that the ones on the ground could electrify somebody while walking on front yard if not properly grounded for type of usage. Your idea is helpful.

Question for you - great tutorial BTW. Under our sink is an outlet that powers the disposal with a switch above of the countertop. The problem is, both top and bottom outlets are controled by the switch only. Installing a hot water dispenser to the kitchen sink, but as it, I have to run a 12 Ga wire extension cord around the back of counter top to the hot water dispenser from another plug. So, from what I'm seeing in you tutorial the white neutral then basicically could be taped with red tape to indicate hot.. In other words, I don't have to rerun wire (if even possible) with 12/3 then not use the neutral? This house was built in the early 80's and there is NO 14 Ga wire anywhere. The breakers do have correct 15Amp and 20 Amp for the circuits. 12 ga must have been really cheap back then.... sure seemed odd to me to use 15 amp breakers on a 12 ga wire.

Is this only for lithium batteries? Wondering what to do if NiCd bats are behaving badly... Haven't used them in quite a while & as I recall, I have at least one that doesn't want to charge. I realize they are very old, but it's what my tools use & I've rarely used them in recent years, but need them to work when I do! I have a 18v Nicd on the charger right now after not charging it for well over 2 years. It was still letting my drill turn VERY weakly, if I pulled the trigger but I knew if I kept the trigger depressed, it would have died in a few more moments. After charging an hour, the charger is still blinking slowly & feels fairly hot. I can't find my 2nd battery for this just now, but I believe the last time I tried to charge that one, the charger would blink very rapidly when it was attached, which seemed to indicate the battery was bad. Any insights you can share would be very much appreciated! Thank you! [12.4.2024]

Unfortunately the new rules say so panels are not allowed to be added to a basement panel which is considered now the subpanel any sub panel has to be sent right out to the main disconnect outside

Don't forget to tell people not all breakers match based on the backside the front side and the brand name you cannot combine different types of breakers and different brands of breakers in the same panel

Clearly and demonstrably a lie. Basically they want you to convert to a subscription based model for light. About 500 a year, + the juice. I have never had an LED last noticeably longer than an incandescent. Just they cost 5x as much.
