Whoever that DNR was that told you that you can put it back to mother will come get it and continue raising it well that might be true but I won't tell you what I was driving to Indianapolis one day and I saw a semi hit a deer was headless but was moving so I pulled over walked back to the deer and I saw a baby deers coming out pull the dead baby out of the mama and all of a sudden she had more movement and a second phone was born anyway I took him home to my small apartment the one didn't make it the second one born but the first one I raised to a big buck and I'm talking big I moved to Michigan in the upper peninsula and we had a lot of land so the deer has an adult would go out and potty and then come in just like the dogs and a couple years later I decided it was too much his antlers were getting both sides of the hallway the trailer was shaking when he walked so I put him outside everyday he came back to eat after about a year of him being outside I didn't see him anymore and so I was wondering and then all of a sudden he showed up and he was with a baby deer and the mom was standing way back so I started feeding the baby and mom and himabout a year later after that a feeding them daily they never came back I'm hoping somebody didn't kill her I had even put signs up all around the part of land that I owned and it said if you hunt here I'll hunt you I have their and I would have I have very little compassion for people but big compassion for animals I've had raccoons possums the one dire Wolf actually two wolves and I've raised them all I ended up getting my wild animal training license I now have a dingo she is the best girl in the world she'll be 10 next month or this month actually and I wouldn't take all the money in the world for I love her so much anyway you could have easily raised that deer instead of hoping that the Mama dear found in

Can always call the wildlife rescue in your area if there's one or animal control with local police and they can call someone who can help the baby. And bless you for helping that little fawn. 🙏❤

You had to hug the fawn, covering it w/ your scent, yes, in order to prevent hyperthermia, saving her life. That little baby felt so secure in your arms, it was dozing off to sleep. If only we could all communicate with our hearts...

Big difference between a hunter and a trophy hunter, respect to this guy. Alot of people hunt to put food on the table which i see nothing wrong with, its the people that do it for sport or pleasure that i dont agree with

Would you have saved the fawn without a camera there? You know what, I'm thinking you may have set this up. Never trust trappers. I feel sorry for all of you fools in the comments.

I save thousands of fawns elk calves and cattle by being a trapper. You should do a little research about how many are killed by coyotes and wolves before you start spewing your hate

Thank you for your heart. Been a hunter my whole life, never liked trapping, it doesn’t sit right with me. I can understand it to an extent on farms to protect livestock and crops, but it’s still a cruel way to dispatch an animal. Some trappers won’t even check their traps every day, and those are the worst ones.
