Good Morning. Whatcha doing out there in the dark? Too cold for that! Marten are kind of like wolves in the fact that they are always on the move. It takes time and patience to catch them. Easy to trap, but they don't find your traps very fast. Perfect suitcase catch. Pretty one too!

I'm always out at night it seems, that first marten was dead so quickly he didn't even make it out the box, them 120 traps sure work well

Running a handful of mixed traps on your line can really keep the morale up. A $2 muskrat is still a catch day. Keep up the good work!

Had a guy tell me never step over fur to catch fur and that makes sense but I try not to trap other critters where I'm trying to catch wolves

The wolves came back through, just a pair of them and the next drainage down from my sets so I'm headed in today to put in some more gear
