That was a beautiful martin with the light colored chest and sucks you caught that female and had to remove your traps in that area!! Yeah it sucks having to walk. He hasn't had much snow either, been a dry Ole winter so far. Them marten are pretty little critters, think next year I'll do some more trapping for them. Thanks for watching

Nice catches. That second one had a real pretty belly. I was told the same thing by an old trapper about bobcats. They move to the ponds in the winter to look for mice muskrats and beaver. He said if you got squirrels on the mountain tops then they would stay for those. Good luck out on the line👍👍

In trapping season we always stink, Brother. Sure nice traveling around with you seeing the country and those beautiful Marten you caught. I have Fisher but not the Marten. Crazy cat coming right into your camp like that. I would like to see you catch it. Have a good day my Friend!

If I can get back to the cabin for the weekend I'm gonna try and catch that cat. I think next year I'll run a bigger line and try to catch more marten, fun little animals to trap. I appreciate you watching and tight chains

I've got wolf traps out, just haven't connected yet. I'm trying to catch a pair that is on the ranch I was trapping this summer that has started coming through. It's a long drive for me so I'm trapping other critters while I'm chasing wolves

Best place 4 marten is in big heavy growth lodge pole.or old growth trees

That second Martin has a beautiful chest. I would have to get that mounted. That's too funny. You go out your back door of your cabin. And there are cat tracks all around it. at least you won't have to go too far to check it.. That natural leaning post looked like a you aer going to have a martin. Enjoy the video as always.👍🏻
