It's funny that you hate the green releases that still miss bc this is exactly what I miss about 2k. It's more realistic and it keeps the game fresh. Now if you have a player like a steph and you get it down to a science, you damn near never missing. I understand wanting more predictable gameplay but I feel like it takes away from realism

Vividly remember a time in Madden 03 where I would just sell all my surplus cards to see how many tokens I could make. No memory card in and auto save off. For some reason one day I decided to sell my Giza Mummies card and left the screen and somehow had not checked to see if auto save was on. It was. Someone else had played the game and turned it on and it saved that I had sold my card. I searched for years to find a copy of NASCAR Thunder to rent. Finally literally like 15 years later, my brother brought over a bunch of memory cards a friend didn't want and one of them had NASCAR Thunder on it. I copied the file and was rewarded with the Mummies team I accidentally lost years before.

I had a silver card Marcus Thornton in my team and other silvers because it was cheaper, was good
