@@ababilashari9970 so you telling left and right spam is fun? overpowered dribbling moves that you LITERALLY CAN'T guard because your player slower than the actual animation of dribbler that is pulling ball in all directions at the same time spinning and looping around just to shoot green from half court because they know latency timing and you dont? If thats fun, I dont know what you on buddy, but that aint basketball. If you WANT to have fun you go to NBA 2K PLAYGROUNDS, or NBA Street games. THOSE ARE FUN. But in nba 2k you go to try to feel realistic experience of playing basketball. Last game which represented that feeling was nba 2k19. In fact 2k14 (Consoles version); 2k15 (not really but animations were well made, gameplay was very stiffy but animations smoothed bad experience making it good); 2k16; 2k19; Kinda 2k20. Those are last great nba 2k games. 4 LAST YEARS THEY HAVE BEEN SUCKING MONEY OFF A KOBE'S DEATH. TRIBUTE, DLC, PRE ORDERS, GOLD EDITIONS. Yet gameplay worse each year.

Ik this might sound weird but it’s 100% true. The reason you were missing with Curry, Starks and the shooters that had high ratings but was making with lower 3pt rated players like Gerald Green, Bradley is all because of their jumpshot animations. Specifically the “base” animations, some are just more cheese than others

The thing about NBA2K14’s shooting is, badges, spacing, and hot spots matter; not just the shot quality and shot release. Shot creating is also key, along with creating in each player’s specific hot spots. Once you understand the game’s mechanics, the makes and misses make sense the majority of the time.

my thing with the greening in this game is, it is WAY, and i mean WAY too easy to green your shot, the shot timing is set to where there are 5000 cues to shoot your shot, and another thing to mention, this was made in 2013 if im not mistaken, so the idea that you could be a shooting threat from wherever and shoot 20/20 from the field wasn't a concept, which forces you to finish at the rim as well, which is also one of my favorite parts of the game

Maaaan we beyond spoiled with this new shooting nowadays. The cheese heads think it’s skill doing the slimiest shit and because they know their players release they get bailed out for it essentially because…they timed it right. It’s basketball, you can have an open shot and like he said it feels good but shit sometimes you’ll even airball. I’ve grown to truly dislike automatic makes for greens. It’s not sim at all it’s arcade.

Fun fact: You could just hold the shoot button literally until way after the ball was released on threes playing online to hit shots whether the release text was Excellent or not. Made a killing off that back in the day driving and kicking

Editing is really impressive. 2k15 is my favorite of PS4 gen to play but 2k14 is close and probably better to look at. I really think it got slower and less impressive graphically after, this had to be the biggest jump in a long time. I just need a shot meter as a crutch plus 14 is a bit too fast (not to mention stripped features from Association to MyGM) or it would rival 15 for me.
