I’ve never played woman’s vollyball only men’s but can someone tell me why on serves they keep there hand completely up? The only time I see it in men’s is on floats

it does not. I am keeping more of the impact/pressure on my forearms then stomach. By keeping my head up, that keeps my chest from impacting the floor. Yes, there is some contact but not really any impact there.

Congratulations girl! We’re so proud of you here in Alabama! I LOVE that they let you wear all of that! Our high only allows club cords or honor cords. Which stinks. One thing I wonder is how you guys work so well together. Does that come with age and levels, or is it just your team and how well rounded each player is? Very good rally btw

Age does help as you learn over time how to work with other players, especially when everyone knows their positions. A lot of it has to do with the team. When you play together enough, you learn each other's tendencies and figure out how to play off everyone's strengths and weaknesses.
