I finally managed to watch the entire video! I’m afraid your calm narration and light music lulled me to sleep twice.. not a bad thing at all! Kudos to you for staying historically accurate and I just loved seeing all the photographs; how glamorous everyone was. Seems Margaret was a victim of not only her own hubris and bad judgement, but that of the vipers surrounding her.

She made a crucial mistake by leaving her husband and supporter Meneghini for Onassis, and she ended up dying from a hard attack. I hope your viewers agree that for Onassis to develop a relationship and be accepted, he had to sign agreements promising presents and monetary compensation.

It's too bad there weren't more publicly available pictures of her, and you have to keep using the same 2 or 3 throughout.

A girl born and raised in Brooklyn who made her name known in every home around the world. Mae is buried near my parents in Cypress Hills cemetery in Queens, NY. I was only 10 when she passed, but the more I've read about Mae, the more I admire her. Men are always going to be intimidated by a smart, successful woman, especially insecure men. 😅😅

Wow. This story kept getting more and more tragic! Was actually depressing for me to watch. I think she must've truly never learned to love herself, which clearly started at home (the abuse she endured from her parent, oy!). Prior to knowing more about her story, I'm ashamed to say, I typically viewed her as the "other woman" in comparison to Jackie. Thank you for sharing her actual story, though very sad to me.

Joe only thought of his his and family future reputations. This show how cold hearted of evil man. My father went to an institution for my brother and he expressed, I would never put my son there to be chained like a dog🤨😩🫣 RIP

Lord Brooke, like many other husbands at the time was thrilled that the actual King had chosen his wife as a mistress. Made those husbands feel important.

I'm surprised by the Queen disliking her hunting attire. I could almost see Queen Victoria wearing a pink hunting jacket, in her younger years, had she thought of it. She was such an amazing woman. She truly was. I loved their while story, hers and Prince Albert's love story. And she was so relatable in her feelings about things. We watched the PBS series Victoria. It was wonderfully done. Beautful. Even had the hubs captivated by the show and story. She was such a force, for such a little thing. Such an awesome woman. I really admired her, in so many ways. I pray she rests sweetly, and in peace, with her Albert, children, and beloved animals, in a beautiful castle in heaven. ❤ 🙏🏻

During Victorian times too many many lived in slums. Suffering disease, poverty and the rich enjoying child labour cleaning their chimneys and working in factories from the age of 8….sad to say in modern times much has not changed. We still have the disgustingly rich and the very poor.

Great video but sounds like he should be labeled bisexual instead of homosexual. I never knew much about him. Intresting how many prince of wells did not become King. I did not know he wanted to marry the lady that became the emperice of Russa. How history would be different if he was allowed to. Then again their sons would have hemophilia. Would England still have a monarchy today if the marrage happened?
