Boa sorte.

Its crazy how they believe in religion's when it was the British that came and taught it to them. They really are a simple folk whose thinking is hundreds of years behind

He is absolutely right, when he said that children should be thought how to swim. The numbers of people I know who drowned, is way too many, which could have been avoided if they were thought how to swim. It is just an essential as learning basic life support. The younger they learn, the easier it is to teach them. No matter where you are in the world, it all comes down to money. I don't think essential life saving skills is a waste of money. Each child who learns, can in turn, teach others the basics of how to survive. Your cousin probably saved 10 lives that day. 7 of them saved, because he knew how to swim, and did not panic. Most people drown because they panic. Hopefully, they are taking his advice.
