From the snow-capped mountains of Lesotho, to the bustling urban centres in South Africa, from the red sands of the Kalahari in Botswana to the deserts of Namibia, the Orange-Senqu River is the great provider for the many industries and inhabitants of the four countries that it travels through.
Climate change and variability, however, has had an impact on the Orange-Senqu’s ability to quench the region’s growing thirst. Join us as we follow the river’s course from source to mouth and get an insider’s glimpse into the lives of the people that depend on it.
Subtitles avilable in English, Portuguese and French
