By going to all of these cemeteries, it sounds like you might have gotten an entity attachment. I would protect yourself prior to going to another cemetary as well as afterward.

I tested multiple systems. In the end I always went back to chemical toilets. It is an absolute horror emptying the thing but in the end it's more convenient

Yeah, no, I would not do that. At least not solo! That must've been scary as hell! Cheers to you for doing it though. You are braver than I am. I've probably watched too many horror films to go and stay alone in a remote cabin like that. Also, shame on the folks who left that horrid mess for others to clean up. That really sucks.

I've been watching some of your videos out of order this morning and I watched your ferry crossing video where you got so sick on your way back to Scotland before watching this one. Seeing that you had further bad luck and discomfort on your way home after the dog attack, well, I feel for you! Definitely the right call to head home when your trip was going so wrong. Very unfortunate. OK, now time for me to get caught up on more of your videos!

I visited Dundee many times in the mid 70's while in the Marines stationed in Edzell Scotland. I'm 68 now :( and hoping to get back to Scotland someday before I die. As a person gets older time accelerates.

That is a terrific little adventure. I love the idea of the Bothy and the highlands are really beautiful! You are very engaging as well. I understand your anxiety about being out there all alone with the understanding that someone might come in at any time. That part is a little weird.

Thank you for another wonderful video! I’m a stay-at-home autism mom. When I was younger I got to do a lot of traveling. Now I currently homeschool our two kids and follow a very predictable routine close to home due to our daughter’s intense needs. Hopefully someday we’ll be able to venture out on little trips, but for now I’m truly grateful for all the work you put into these beautiful videos. Greetings again from Southern California!

Hi Ruth, I started watching your videos about a month ago. I thoroughly enjoy them. The beautiful Scottish countryside and the incredible historical references you speak of are truly captivating. My name is Donald William Wilson, 5th generation Scottish American. My Gr. Gr. Grandfather James Wilson, his wife Margaret Andrew's, and their son James A. Wilson (Gr. Grandfather), left Scotland in 1862, landed in Canada, and made their way to the U.S. Unfortunately, my Gr. Gr. grandmother Margaret passed away within 3 weeks of their landing in Toronto. It is noted in our family history that there were 16 generations of James Wilson preceeding my Gr. Gr. Grandfather. I was born in 1955, in Tacoma, Washington and still live here, along with my three older siblings. My family comes from the Fife/Bathgate, West Lothian area. I am planning a trip to Scotland for late September, 2025. I look forward to many more of your videos. Thanks so much for sharing the adventures. Kindest regards, don.

They are probably a dying breed but when we visited the Verdant works we had a lovely older lady guide who had worked in the mills. Like many of them it left her partially deaf.

I would absolutely not drink that water, because who knows if it's filled with turds, because we all need to clean our hands afterwards... Mayby a lazy one that wanted to clean his hands at the same time

That bothy is extremely haunted. There's no doubt you have experienced some very strange stuff in there, that you didn't go into. I would like to hear the true story of staying in that accursed place.

I've heard someone that went there, I haven't myself, but he said he heard people walking about and messing with the door all night. At first he thought it was some intruder, but after checking the whole place and the outside he couldn't find anyone. He changed his mind about the intruder when he went back in and his backpack had moved to the other end of the room. Later in the night, noises continuing all the while, he also physically saw items moving. He didn't sleep a second in there.

Sea sickness is horrendous. Used top go sea fishing and always took pills except for one time the sickness was terrible just wanted to curl up into a ball and die. The best thing if you can do it is go on deck and look at the horizon but at night not really possible.
