The Böhme Tumultus model is an incredibly responsive trumpet that will give you clear feedback behind the horn. Intonation is excellent, and slotting feels secure without being restrictive. The Tumultus feels very free blowing thanks to the reversed leadpipe design and MAW valve block. It is the heaviest Böhme trumpet design, and the extra weight helps give the sound additional stability and core.
The L bell is an ideal choice for the jazz soloist. The tone is dark, powerful, and centered throughout the dynamic range. The diameter of the bell is 135mm.

@@austincustom Thanks for responding; inconsistency has been my issue. I’ve been playing a 1.5C Bach with my model 37 for 50+ years and I have no upper register yet and by upper I only want a clean “high C”. I also play a Lawler flugel and I want to remain consistent with the best mouthpiece choice on that; I guess I’ll stick with the Bach 1.5CFL after trying my Schilke and Wick. Overall when I switch from the trumpet to the flugel I want the transition as fluid as possible; you sound great with every mouthpiece you try and I can’t do that as transitioning from one to the other is difficult. I enjoy all of all your videos!
