I love all your videos. But when you are talking, the volume is so low, I can barely hear you. Thanks for all you do.

I got lost in another of your videos and I was going to comment about being fortunate enough to meet Brian MacDonald and what a great guy he is. My daughter was the Commander at Bolling AFB the home of the Airmen Of Note and I was able to attend one of their concerts in Pennsylvania. I had to lay off the trumpet for three years to get braces to realign my teeth. I told him I have played a Bach 1.5C almost my entire life and at 70 he said I might try a 3D? I’m not sure what I will do as I’ve only been back to practicing for about 3 weeks.🤔

@@austincustom you may be the most knowledgeable person on KZbin to ask this question and it appears to me that you could use a garden hose and still sound great but I need help🤔I have been playing a Bach Model 37 ML bore with a Bach 1.5C for 50yrs. and a Lawler Flugel with a Dennis Wick 2FL. I had to take three years off for braces to realign my teeth and the Orthodontist did a great job and after 3 weeks of practice I am amazed with the progress I am making. I am making every effort to avoid any of the bad habits I had before and I am really taking time to practice correctly. The 1.5 feels very comfortable but I want to be able to transition between the two horns without an adjustment problem. What Flugelhorn mouthpiece is most like the Bach 1.5C? I only play sacred music in churches and my sound is the most important to me and a high C is really the only upper register I need to attain. Am I correct with remaining with the 1.5C if it is still comfortable even though I’m struggling a little early (3wks) to get back the a nice high C🤔 Main thing is the flugelhorn mouthpiece transition. I appreciate any advice you can give me.😊

Maybe I should tell you that I still can’t hit the high a, b and C comfortably but it is only 3 weeks. I say the 1.5 is comfortable but not up high yet🤔

If I needed to change both mouthpieces to be close to the 1.5 but help with some ease with the upper register what would you suggest?🤔😊

You sound better on this than you do on the way more expensive horns. Maybe it’s time to have a Signature TA horn made by Carol. 💯
