I find the peeler peeled away half of my potato, do you think so?
@ThermomixingwithSophiaАй бұрын
Hey @saiwingyau6414 - the Thermomix will default to 4mins but I usually only do about 2mins. Stop it and check the potatoes and if needs be, let it go for a little longer. Hope this helps

Thank you for that. Once peeled and cover with oil in the fridge. How long will it keep?

@louvassie4610 absolute pleasure. In the fridge for 7 days, but I keep mine in the freezer. Freeze as a single layer on a tray and then once frozen I keep them in a jar to use as needed 🥰

Can you use carrots, celery etc?
@ThermomixingwithSophia7 ай бұрын
Yes absolutely! It's really easy! You just have to know how… simply blend the fruit and vegetables with a handful of ice or a piece of frozen fruit and 50g of water on speed 9 for 30 seconds. Then set speed to 9 and pour additional water slowly over the MC (over approx. 40 seconds) and leave to blend for a total of 2 minutes to achieve a smooth silky texture. For more fibrous vegetables you’ll need more water (like carrots), whereas for less fibrous vegetables (like cucumbers) you’ll need a lot less. Start with a little bit (maybe 100g) and keep adding until desired consistency is achieved. Hope this helps

Hello, that was super helpful. However on my whisk attachment it doesn’t feel as though it’s really that secure sitting on the blades. Is there a nack to it? Or is it meant to be quite free. When removing its feels too easy, literally resting on the blazed rather than snapped in or secured in some way. Please help thanks! Xx
@ThermomixingwithSophia2 жыл бұрын
Hi there - I'm glad it helped 😊 Yes the whisk just sits fairly loosely on the top of the blades. You can give it a slight turn backwards and it does tend to lightly lock in. It won't click in or feel locked in though ... but it won't come out either 😊

You will be able to blitz up anything you make. If you have the TM6 use the blending mode to do this, or you can start at speed 5 and gradually increase to speed 8 or higher if you prefer. Be mindful of not going over the Max line in the bowl. Hope this helps

My bowl gets a thrashing as I use it daily .. I tried the egg shells but didn’t still get it all :/ on the first week of purchase I did butter chicken and the whole thing stained yellow from the turmeric and it’s never really polished up since. Considering buying a second bowl but won’t be using a lot of turmeric this time

Try using white vinegar. This will be your friend! ❤️ I love turmeric but yes it stains! Soak your lid and bowl with white vinegar and then clean. If the lid is still stained and you'd like it back to clear, you can leave it in the sun for a little while too
