He's right about your slab it should have been thicker and some rebar/mesh in it too ( will limit the cracking) I would think your slab will be suspect to frost heave too. Your beams supporting the rafters would be much stronger with the large depth vertical, it will sag after time the way you did it.

Thankfully, there is no frost in Ireland, but yes, I agree with all of that.

@@ConradJabba You'll have a space in the fridge nad you'll have a big drawer for food storage. There is a fully fitted kitchen to cook whatever you need to cook from your own stash of food. It's generally a good idea to come with your own food and drink - the manager (Otto) isn't available 24x7 (has errands to run) and he's the only man holding the fort there. So definitely come with enough food to last the entire visit. That being said, you can get very good pizza, soup, beer, non-alkoholic drinks etc. especially in the evening times when everybody is in the common room. Also, I can't stress enough the importance of getting in touch with Otto to arrange transport in and out - it is a remote location with no car access - you're on your own on that front. "náš národ opět trpěl." Tato neustálá viktimizace Česka je ubohé. Ne, ČSR nebyla nějáká pasivní obět, ke které byly dělány hrozné věci. Naše politici byli velmi schopní chybovat jak před válkou, během války i poválečně. ČSR se silně podílela ve svém osudu, pohled, jaký jsme byli a jsme dosud oběti je klamná demagogie. Je trošku pokrytické je nazývat barbaři ze západu, když jsme jim odpověděli podobnou etnickou čistkou. Rozhodně se nemůžeme považovat ze morálně nadřazeně, po tomto aktu. Kdyby Beneš a Masaryk nebyli zcela oddanný k post-válečné spolupráce s SSSR, kdyby Masaryk nebyl naprosto lojální vůči Gottwaldovi, kdyby byli i o trošku politicky gramotnější a chápali realpolitiku situaci jako Paasikivi nebo Tito, tak ČSR možná opravdu mohla sloužit jako propojení mezí Východem a Západem. Bohužel, těch chyb kumulovali a dějiny se odehrály jak se odehrály. Odebírat agenci ČS aktérům akorát ubližuje našemu národu.
