Highcliffe is part of BCP and it’s hard to see how?Two infrequent and unreliable bus routes into the main conurbation. Last bus leaves Bournemouth at 18:30. So we don’t stay in Bournemouth or Christchurch in the evening, hence the nighttime economy has declined, as others feel the same here. Trains across conurbation are infrequent and often hourly! Taxis are expensive to come home from Christchurch, let alone Poole or Bournemouth. Linking the transportation is key with later trains/buses and increasing frequency of both should improve people going out and spending money in bars and restaurants/ theatre/shopping etc and improve what was a vibrant area! Castepoint is nothing to brag about either. But yet again, for us, no direct buses/trains to Castlepoint! The good news is we have a great Premier League team- but need a bigger stadium especially if we get European football this season!

First time seeing this place. As a Brummie I can’t help wishing this was the approach used to replace some of the incredible Victorian buildings we lost during WW2 bombing and dodgy 1960s brutalist town planning which is now gradually being demolished and replaced with ultra contemporary and often questionable architecture. Would love to see some grand scale traditional stuff being reintroduced in city centres. I suppose it’s not viewed as progressive enough by developers. Thanks for the tour!

BS. i drive from Ringwood to boscombe every morning. I drive right past the footy ground and vouch it wasnt coming from it. It was coming from above the fog and was over the old cricket ground... 2 miles from the stadium.

@orwellboy19585 күн бұрын
I'm not far from the stadium, it happens every season and they have been on at least three times in the last week, every league club does it. They have huge electrical generators in the car park behind the stadium. The only reason they have been so visible recently is the very low cloud we have had recently.

I do one thing in Bournemouth now. Bank home. Cant even get a stamp now. I cam remember so many people in town. When Debenhams Beales and M@S shut that was the nail in the coffin. So sad. Tragic.BCP are responsible for this with high rates. No foot fall. Apparently clubs shut down too. Bournemouths tourism affected too. Castlepoint didnt help. Many wont go there. Designed for those with cars.
