Thank you for clarifying a lot of the issues with my 2000 jeep xj. I feel better knowing that these things are normal such as the steering wheel, the downshift issue when you get to high speeds, the bouncy stiff suspension. I also bought the 3” Rusty’s off road as well, I wish I bought the advanced kit initially because I ended buying everything the advanced kit had separately which costs probably double than what I paid for the basic kit. I liked the video and your insight, made me feel better and more proud about my XJ. Thank you

Has anyone used the edlebrock aluminum head for the xj 4.0? I’m considering it because I I’m sure I have the famous lifter ticking

My only request for you guys is to clean the undercarriage on that Cherokee. If they are salting the roads where you live, then the frame on that Jeep is going to rust very quickly. Keep it clean! XJ's are finally starting to fade away, we have to keep them nice!

My 99 XJ doesn't get above 210, but I did have to replace the upper and lower gaskets, when I stall in traffic it does go around 215... I hate that, once I start moving it goes back down to 200, I am in Mexico, but in a part where it doesn't get crazy hot, not close to the border... I haven't put any higway miles on it... this winter is the first time I'll be taking her out on the road, I have had it for a year and gave me all sorts of issues that I believe I got fixed, because it hasn't given me issues in almost 6 months I have only had it for a year an a half... Hopefully it won't die on me

Quick tip if your doing this, AutoZone n oriely both have little razor scrapers for $2 that are right at the cash registers, comes with a razor n a lil handle n you can switch out the razors, I lose mine constantly so I usually just buy one whenever I know I need to scrape a gasket off

I have a LS400 as a daily, I am planning to sell my Civic Si soon. Probably won't get another car for a while, but I am looking to replace it with an XJ or a 3rd gen 4runner. I miss having something 4x4 to take to the range which is on dirt roads, or to my shooting spots, and just crawling around offroad. I hunt from time to time also, and I need another vehicle to take, rather than rely on friends vehicles. I'm definitely looking for the perfect manual transmission XJ or 4runner for a reasonable price though. That's my favorite part of the civic Si is the manual transmission. I gotta have at least one stick vehicle, even if it's just the weekend rider. Not really looking to spend more than 5-7k on one, and looking for no more than 150,000 miles.

Consider 235/85R16 as it's the same diameter but narrower, thus I doubt would have any rubbing.

Got a waag brush guard for my 99 for a steal only to find out that I need to order the bracket kit, classic lol. Naturally I found out I needed these extra brackets after I had bought a new bumper, new stock brackets, and installed 😂thanks for the vid bro my jeep will be that much closer to complete thanks to you. I got the rugged ridge tow hook bracket kit, that should be fine for the brush guard/tow hooks right? Please say yes.

for a fuel efficient jeep, just get the 2.0L turbo jeep. Ive heard that it can get 20 mpg even on 35 inch tires, acceleration is also quick, 6.6 seconds from 0 to 60 mph.

You don't need to be shifting into lower gears driving in town on public streets, its an automatic transmission, they spent a lot of money making it more capable than the driver. If you want to shift get a manual. Do yourself a favor and save the downshifting to offroad use only before there is someone or someone's in the oncoming lane. I hope you learned from that experience.

I dailied my XJ for like 2 months. Some jagoff didn’t use his turn signal and caused a 3 car pile up. Now it’s totaled. It’s was my dream car. I’m looking at a ‘95 grand Cherokee though.

I just don't get why the chargers more expensive cuz the chargers more f****** slow so really just go get you a damn f****** Challenger it's more faster for you if you do not have a family but if you do have a family and you're looking for that sporty look go get you a charger it's compact with four seats so you should be good in more leg room

I have a 2022 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack finished in Smoke Show Gray with Red Calipers and with a Sunroof. I got it in 2022 brand new, and it's going on 2 years now, and im still nervous about doing the Mid muffler delete. I hear good things all the time about the delete. But I'm not sure why I haven't done it yet. I feel like my car is too quiet unless I get on it with the windows down, or im under a bridge or in a tunnel. Also, I don't think Mid Muffler Deletes cost 100 dollars anymore, lol. I think the price went up another 100 dollars. Grrrrrr, smh.
