The Challenger can handle better from what it's worth and more comfortable to drive on the street with a different suspension. But you cannot off-road with the Challenger. The Jeep it rides higher and weighs alot more with worse MPG. I suspect the ride on the Jeep will not be as comfortable on the street as the Challenger for everyday usage. Two different animals for two different purposes. It just depends on what YOU prefer to USE it for. These are both two different tools that serve different purposes. One can't really compare the two different type of vehicles other than they have a 392 engine. The tires are totally different between the two vehicles because of the different usages. The Challenger has stickier low profile tires that will wear out faster. The Jeep has a truck suspension with truck tires which you get better pothole protection between the two I personally don't know which tires cost more or last longer. Perhaps you can shed light on tire cost as well as the maintenance costs between these two animals? Again these are two different vehicles that serve two different purposes. Are you trying to justify the Jeep purchase now? Ideally you would have both. But if you are also changing your usages between both vehicles and if it comes down to having just one vehicle for all you have already made your decision and must live with it until you sell the Jeep.

I haven’t looked at tire prices yet for the Jeep but I will say for the challenger they were pretty expensive when I upgraded to Michelin 275s. I’d imagine the Jeep tires would be quite a bit too since they are so big. I think maintenance costs are pretty similar between the two assuming they are both stock. And I agree it all comes down to personal preference since they are both so different yet similar at the same time. After having experienced both vehicles, I am a bigger fan of the Jeep

@@KCarsI know nothing about trucks, jeeps, or 4 wheel drives, other than their suspensions ride very rough, and they cost more to maintain than a conventional car but won't the factory tires on your jeep last longer than those sticky low profile factory tires on your Challenger?

@@microminiskirt I think they will last longer, but on the challenger I had all season tires so they weren’t super fancy sticky tires. I think the all terrain tires on the Jeep should still last a bit longer
