Yeah the melee range is hard to get used to.. On sin rogue, you have short range but many more way to close gaps.. I'm finding tanks in pugs often randomly kite mobs mid-pull out of my melee range

The affix of that week made cooldowns recover faster, however it doesnt make trinkets recover quicker so eventually they become de-synced, this week the affix rewards you differently and therefore theyre back to being synced

I find its better for keys with a lot of aoe and not much single target - horn for ST heavy dungeons and FWF for the rest

@ I'm trying to figure out what's wrong. I've tweaked stats, spec, and everything else. Are there sim examples at different ilvls I could try replicating? Not sure what else to do at this point but my dk gets obliterated by every other class I have.

So for a novice player yes, but I tend to use my hands for utility as the damage is so tiny, i am also aware of how gripping random adds might hurt the other players in the team

Good question, no I do not see that happening, breath provides too much priority damage which is so valuable in keys as well as not being as punishing as riders. Riders might be easier to understand but its way more finicky to make the same numbers as dnd, breath macro, oblit spam

@@obliwowwhat are you using in your breath macro. I’ve equipped ovinax egg and treach transmit. I go pillar then empower then breath then treach all macrod in that order. I have all the trinkets…sacbrood, mark of khadros…and shard, but I really hate running 2 on use but sims tell me different

Hi mate! Right the way talent trees are, you can customise the paths quite nicely to do with the content you play and the playstyle you have that allows your dps to shine. Cookie cutter builds are a great way of giving yourself somewhere to start and typically come from sims which play very linearly and one directional. Human gameplay can see you making mistakes, getting mechanics, all sorts of things - so with that in mind, a change I like to play with is inc runic power instead of frost strike damage as it can allow for a more fluid and less punishing gameplay style with an extra 20 rp (a twitch chatter put me onto this!) and frost strike does poor damage off the bat. But yes! I have considered a talent breakdown video yeah!

@ Thanks for the reply! I've given the extra rp talent a spin and can see how it'll help. I've just about finished all 11s and I'm trying to get some 12's done, but when I watch my vods back my Rune/KM/RP generation just looks so much slower than yours and I become starved. Being stuck at 1.2-1.5m dps obviously isn't high enough to be comfortable in a 12. If you could post some logs up in a discord or a dungeon commentary of your thought process im sure the pleb frost's like me would really appreciate it. Thanks again for the advice

You can, but it wont be as good as breath is in keys - its just more viable than before

I'd think they'll probably leave us be now as we're in a balanced spot and all our new specs are somewhat competitive but we shall see!

@@obliwow its isnt exacrtly a buff,is a re-direct from aoe to single damage, total dps is unchainged mostly. and prolly in heavy aoe senarios, nerf slightly

no , BoS ,in big pulls will remain king, since SF is bad and FS damage, low, plus u loose 6% constant stre from gargule rune, cause u need razorrice

​@@jossangr nahh, someone already did the math and you're not losing more than like 50-70k dmg vs using breath. So yes, shatter will be usable. You wont be pushing 15s with it but it'll be viable in other keys.

@@ASTRALEGION yeah the damage is getting closer, but the profile is worse, keys like priority damage which shatter doesnt have as well as breath
