Live top down awwwww yeaaaaah! Is that a C100 top down? 😉 Loved the silica shelf throw! Epic video, really enjoyed the sound test too, sounds great. I actually want one of these, I've got a Video Mic Pro+ for vloggy stuff but it's big and expensive, I'd much prefer this as it's not as "in your face"

cheers for the dead cat part number gong to need that, having a quick listen to the recording i did with it last week was very impressed. Proud to see an aussie company do so well in a very tough market. Have you tested it going into a wireless go by any chance ?

Yeah the dead cat (WS12) is an epic addition to it. But totally agree mate, Rode are rocking it and this is a step up again for them

The mic sounds great, and even on my phone it sounds quite good which does not sound as good as on headphones. Clear audio, sounds natural. Price is not too bad. So that's great value. I might get one for future camera. I see it has replecable cable, so if you break it you can easily swap it, no cable hanging off it to fail, just a ble connected directly to it. But my Modmic5 I have connected to my pc does not do that, has cable hanging from the mic, which can get damaged and then you are screwed. Looks very promising.

I've been thinking about external sound cards for computer for voice overs and video calls. Currently have a Modmic on Phillips Fidelio x2 HR, Modmic 5 ha sits flaws like the cable is weak, fails easily, and the cable from the mic does doe snot have a 3.5 jack, but extends a bit before it does, so snapping cable there and you are screwed. So I hope they make a wired modmic 6 where ths ti's solved. But I've not looked into mics like the Røde. But it might be a good option. I've discovered I am able to buy a arm for camera to mount to my desk, so that would be sweet for video calls. But audio from modmic has been good, but some inconsistency and bit of whit enois eon some PCs, and bid different voice. But I think external sound card would be sweet and a more durable mic.

Haha they write Røde, but pronoun eit Road. 😁 Røde means the red in Norwegian. Like den røde løper(the red carpet,) Den røde Røde mikrofonen(The red Røde microphone.) But Ø is the sound English uses in words with I like Girl, Bird. But also in some words where U is used, like Must, Bust, Rust, Lust, Just😁

@@120fps actually to be more precise Red with these words: den singular of the, or de plural of the, det: genderless the. But also used without the, like in red apples/Røde epler. But the red apples is de røde eplene.
