cuz Shuaijiao and Bokh are practiced from the battlefield ( mainly grassland) and wearing shoes is a imitation of wearing combat boots. Cheers.

For Chinese martial arts, this looks like a good base grappling art.

Shuo Jiao predated the Shaolin Temple martial arts. It later infulences many Japanese martial arts as well, such as Daito-ryu-juu-jutsu, and many other juu-jutsu styles.

technically it predates the wushu as we know it. The wushu as we know it today originated by combining and accumulating martial knowledge at the Shaolin temple around 500 AD. Shuo Jiao is much more ancient than that.

You can lift 100kg or above, the key is to lift with your legs and hips. as long as you have good physical body you can lift 100kg.
