Had a MN for a while now. went 265/70r16 on the stock steelies and it was good. Had the rear leafs collapse so went WCS 2 inch lift with their tailshaft spacer. fresh unis. uprated clutch as it was worn out. 1.8x1.8 sweep off tray with canvas canopy. Ironman roo bar with some bash plates as id nailed the oem bit of tin. light bar. 3 inch redback exhaust as the stock one fell in half. Uniden 2 way and in cab rollbar. Great 4wd, can do great trails in 2wd and in 4wd low its unreal. Been a great first 4wd for the family.

I like using “aerosol brake cleaner” to clean off any lubricant from the factory. Then Hornady’s “One Shot” dry case lube to lubricate the spring and firing pin. 👍

Cleaning the exterior of the spring does absolutely nothing, horrible advise.... what actually needs cleaned is the shaft pin inside the spring housing.

I found and used 3mm Allen key and it worked perfectly for that. Will become part of the kit now. Still very confused about the whole lubrication topic since some people say keep the bolt/firing pin dry and some say lubricant is needed. As a mechanic myself, i would agree that all metal parts need some lubrication. I suppose it is how you use your rifle, and in what conditions.

@@Neikoutdoor use something like a screw driver to.puah is back around. It's pretty easy. Use a piece of wood so you don't damage the metal on the bolt.

I recently bought a 2013 MN Triton mid this year and I've been wanting a bullbar and seeing yours and tell us you're still on factory suspension is relieving cause I wasn't 100% if I need a lift or suspension upgrade for the ute and see yours and you haven't mention any issues just helps and also is it possible to get another update of your ute for the past 3 years?

Hi mate, My main camera is a Sony A6700 apsc camera. I used to also use a GoPro. But I now use a DJI Osmo Action 4 action camera for hard to get shots and for time-lapse and hyperlaspe videography. I shoot in 4k these days and edit my videos in DaVinci Resolve. Lenses: Sigma 18-50 2.8 for a round camp & general video during the day. Hunting Lens when walking around: Sony 18-105 - F4. Long range shooting lens & long distance filming: Sony 70-350 - F4.5-5.6 Night time video around camp/fire Viltrox 13mm 1.4 Sigma 16mm 1.4 I mainly use the Viltrox 13mm mostly these days though around the fire and night shooting and astro photography. Love this vid, life goals fr!! What state forrest is this? And I’ve always been slightly unsure of the rules surrounding state forests. Do you have to book in to camp and hunt there, or not? And if so, where and how do you book and organise that?

To hunt state forest in NSW you need to join an approved hunting organisation (AHO) then do your restricted game hunting licence, and then yes you can start booking state forests

Hi, I have cleaned my bolt several times following your video. Today I stuffed up and for what ever reason, pulled the alan key out. Now I can’t reassemble. Any suggestions please. 😊

@@stevejeffries5843 probably the smart move. Don't want to accidentally make it worse and end up having to buy a new bolt assembly. I doubt it would cost you much and the guy might even just do you a favour and quickly pop it back in.

@@garytnew7504 hi mate, Winnerwell Nomad medium. Although mate, I would get the large version. That way you can get a longer burn time at night before it goes out. Mine get about 2 hours of heat. Large will be 3.5-5 hours depending on wood and slight dampeneing. Just be careful, get a CO2 meter and smoke alarm to be safe. 👍 Oh, and get the extended legs too!
