In case people don't know - the repeated shot of a mushroom on the ground while you're waiting is not the same mushroom that you all ate - know you know it, but the mushrooms you're eating are called lactaria deliciousus (saffron milk caps) and the ones of the ground are amanita muscaria (fly amanita) which will make you pretty uncomfortable if you eat them.
@AHPOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Yep, don't eat those ones. You'll end up very sick.

Mate, great video! Looks like you had a great few days in the bush!! The shoulder sling hook looks interesting that your running on your pack, don't have to worry about it slipping off. Looking forward to the next video and inspiring me to get back across the border when I allowed 😷

On a broadside shot, do you shoot into shoulder/forearm or behind shoulder/forearm?

Depends on the shot presented. Just behind shoulder normally.

Good work mate and it's all about just getting out there and enjoying.. How do you go with wearing blue I've heard it's the only colour that they can see? Had a mate in blue jeans spook some goats off a few months ago.. You and Muz have been around for years mate and always enjoy :) Hit me up for a few spots up here in the North Western State forests.. After lockdown anyway :)

Nice vid Jase I love the photography aspect too. Shame you left with a donut. Next time. Just a question how much time are you taking out of your time concentrating on hunting to get all the scenery and landscape shots. You make it look magical.
@AHPOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, Sometimes it's only a minute if I'm just getting a B roll pan shot. If I'm walking I have to double back to get the camera. Getting in and out of the car picking up the camera is probably the most annoying and time consuming part. All the camp shots are pretty easy because you have all night to get the shots you need. The astrophotography is also quite time-consuming around 4 hours for a 15-second time lapse. But you can normally set it and forget it and head to bed. Just make sure there's no chance of rain. 😂
