Important to know that this music was based on the original melody for the arcade version composed by Tamayo Kawamoto. Though it's still a great version with a lot of personality.

Don't mind me, just here to celebrate the culmination of audio sex in the form of a chiptune song for the Commodore 64 reaching 1 million views. TALK ABOUT THE BLUES, BABY

Loved this music and Monty, and the game. Anyone remember the glitch just before the bridge that used to freeze the game. Played an emulator version about 10 years ago and greeted the glitch like an old friend. I wasn’t so friendly with it back in the day!

Used to love the feeling when it had loaded and the music kicked in. A vibe that can't be reproduced now.

Ok. So I thought it was faster and I increased the speed to 1.1x - this was the version I remembered on C64

This is probably recorded on a PAL machine or emulating one. If you had a NTSC machine it ran a little faster (50Hz/60Hz frame rate difference)

It took a genius to compose this (and in one session from what I've heard). It's cool and sexy... a masterpiece. An all time classic in my opinion. I'll never tire of listening to this every few days.

It's a close run thing between this, Mutants and Trap as to which has the best C64 music. Trap is probably the best, but it's a subjective thing. Crazy Comets has to be taken into consideration too... meanwhile, the title music of Green Beret is fantastic, while Thing on a Spring also rates highly. Wizball and Antiriad would also have been included, but they're only brilliant for just over a minute. Driller is fantastic too, and Tetris is fine, but too long. The Sid chip was truly a wonder !
