Hey Stu, always great to hear from you sharing your thoughts. Graphically it looks like a Metro game BUT they got the assets given to them by 4A Games Devs, so that's expected their "homework" was already done for them. Voice acting is definitely better than say "Into The Radius" HOWEVER the enemies lines when fighting were repeated far too often. "Played out" describes much of what is wrong with this game, situations and things are just over used and it stops being fun. I've now seen other people talk about this game online and they too think it's below average...so I don't feel I'm being overly harsh or a grumpy old man. Although the cynic in me likes to think it's deliberately a slow start to the game, to "burn up" the 2 hours you have to decide to refund! If you haven't played Metro 2033, Last Light or Exodus then you won't really know what's missing from this game. From enemy types to weapons and their upgrades. Even the gas mask taking damage would have been welcome in Metro Awakening to add to the tension. Rather than the quick time events of the flatscreen games, I would have welcomed "shaking off" the mutated Rats that pounce at you...a la Saints & Sinners and their Zombies. Much like "Into the Radius" I can see how some people could enjoy this game but even 5/10 I feel is a generous score to give.

@Honosuseri On a grumpy day I could score it a 6 out of 10 lol. I do agree that the cynic in me agrees about the slow burn and refund window. There is an element of bait and switch, and I don't have the benefit of playing others of the series. Generally heard good things. One silly game I've been playing an awful lot is Light Brigade. Roguelite shooter. Gun play mechanics are not as tight and polished as I'd like, but it's a good time sink if and when I have 30-60 mins to waste. I noticed Behemoth has been getting some very mixed reviews..

@stuartburns8657 Yes I've seen Light Brigade but never played it. I've only played the very start of Behemoth. Not impressed to be honest but I have to go back and play more before I do a video. Played some of Alien Incursion on release but performance was terrible with Virtual Desktop. Apparently it's been patched now but I have little faith in Survios after the joke that was Walking Dead Onslaught

Behemoth is just awful. Skydance is officially now on my shit list. Alien Rogue Incursion has some heavy "film grain" effect to the graphics. Really noticeable with AA off but when on, it's making things really blurry because of the grain. Xenomorph animations are pretty bad sadly.

@Honosuseri Wasn't expecting a lot from Behemoth but after reviews, I've not even bothered. Maybe on an extreme sale in years to come. Aliens looked graphically decent, but the creatures appeared janky yes

Not that I can recall it was pretty smooth if my memory serves. I put the springs back in as I went back to flying fixed wing, not done any rotary flight in quite some time now.
