Alan harper and the ex are rotten parents . ..the worst. Drag the poor kid back and forth every week, between fighting parents, for years . Then punish him for a little rebellion on the school bus. They're lucky to have Jake, They do not deserve him.

This scene was when they really showed Judiths character . Going to Hawaii during Jake's school year--- Leaving Alan to do the school runs, when Alan is a busy working man --She really defined herself this time, and it was not pretty. Why not take Jake with her, on a school break?? That's what i do. As for Jake... That poor kid would have ended up a neurotic, messed upadult. Shuffling your kid around from parent to angry parent, is very damaging .

If a little kid is hurt or scared it runs to mom and she cuddles it close to her chest. Dad will do it too if mom is not around. Boys and girls grow up associating the womans chest area with becoming comforted there, feeling safe and loved. My mom, grammas and a couple aunts all hugged me when we went to visit so of course I look at a womans chest even if she is flat as a table.

There's actual comedy and then there's Chuck Lorres retarded comedy. Through season 3 till Charlie leaves the show there are over a 100 episodes loaded with unfunny stupid comedy skits within the show that even though absolute comedic gold actually kept the show from being so so much funnier and better. Johns character was over the top retarded which didn't help!! Thats why it only gets 60+ on rotten tomatoes.
