Ive been playing this game for like, six to seven months, i already unlocked RD lol. its a great game, and i even had the chance to teach someone named Allira multiple times, heck, the next day after i originally met them they said i for the most part taught them how to play

Hey is there any chance you can you do a new video on adding mods to the game? I followed the steps on the first video but didn't work. i think its the main mod you have to add to use any of the other mods. was an old version and i tried downloading newer versions and manually adding them in but that didn't work either. I LOVE this game but I've played 370 hours and its gotten boring now, but I know the mods would make it more interesting.

I still put 8 hours in a satanic killer last night on my ps5. It may be meh. But it’s still super fun.

Yeah I have a hotel right infront of city hall where I always stay at, on my first night stayed in a cheap room, it was good, but when I discovered what the deluxe room was, I was like, what???????? the cheaper room, even though being smaller, had more furniture than the suite

It crashes for me when i load it modded with mods and bepin. Idk if its my antivirus (windows security) someone help

I think there is a huge potential of SOD is customized cases, like the best case of the game is the default tutorial case lmao… They should make a case customize system and allow community to post their own cases with dialogues and characters, bruh I can’t imagine there will be fans recreating every Sherlock Holmes cases or Blade Runner. I mean like the building and the map is already customizable? Damn it the noir vibe and that blade runner vibe of this game is such perfect but they are so lazy on cases, a system generated case could never beat a story written by people, like the first tutorial case. God this is frustrating

I love how fights in this game amount to throwing a trash can at lethal speeds in the general direction of 17 crazed gunmen mad at you because you picked up a ball of paper in city hall

About the cover-ups. Idk if my game is bugged but EVERY murderer calls me about the cover ups. Which means that I can just trace their calls and arrest them. There is no point in investigating when they just call me from their living room.

I haven’t played the game since that whole titan sub thing happened lol. I quit playing because the murder cases are all the same, where if you can solve one, you can solve them all in a similar way. Game became too easy after solving 1 or 2 murders

Honestly, it's just a good game and they stopped there. Some games can be expansive, this is an indie title. Perhaps they might just push for a sequel. Maybe there's room for another team to take what SoD did well and improve on it and expand it. But you have to remember how limited the market for immersive sim games is. There's room for mods, sequels or spiritual successors, but the game as it is, is a win.

Here’s a tip for whoever is new, go to city hall and look for a government computer, you can use a codebreaker on computers so no need to search about, then look up the initial or that then a space for the last name i believe

I just started this game and so far I’m put off by constantly feeling rushed, like if I’m searching a house someone is gonna come in and fight me or arrest me and I have to immediately find an air duct to escape into. I kinda just like to take my time with stuff and go at my own pace and explore thoroughly. Does the game constantly rush you throughout?

the image of some chinese detective breaking into your house by slamming your own door in your face while you're opening it for him, handcuffing you, taking pictures, throwing one of your vases out the window before running out screaming, "Hallelujah!" is now stuck in my mind forever

I could not get into this game at all, and I’m super into the detective/mystery genre. I just beat “the Return of the Obra Dinn” and couldn’t have enjoyed that game more, it was fantastic. Shadows of Doubt though, I did not enjoy. It’s just a very clunky game to play, I constantly feel rushed bc someone is gonna see me or come in while I’m investigating, and it ruins the game for me. I like to take my time and sit with things, but in this game you feel constantly rushed imo. Dialogue with other citizens is terrible. I just was hoping for more

I do really like this game, but I wish it would take motive into account. Showing that someone committed a murder usually requires you to show motive, means, and opportunity. This game seems extremely focused on means, but you never have to prove things like why they wanted to do it, or showing that there were gaps in their work schedule or that they took a day off or whatever, to have the opportunity. It's just like, were they at the crime scene, what's the murder weapon. Often the murderers have no relationship to the victims, with sniper killers just like, living across the street from the victim and all leads going nowhere if you logically investigate, until you randomly find the right apartment, where they will have helpfully left bullet casings and the weapon out for you with fingerprints all over. And SOME crime is really like that. But not all. Not even most. Granted, it's thematic that everyone has motive all the time and there's so much random crime. They've sprinkled dozens of little emails, employee notes in files, and things to show that it could basically be anyone. And I get that devs have limited resources, time, and expertise. But I'd kill for a version of this game that hinges a bit more on real crime-solving. They're only a step away from taking the existing framework of emails, files, work schedules and notes, and just making you connect things up in them. But that requires writing a text parser and probably expanding the scope a lot. And it IS a fun game, even as is. idk. Murders each being individually linked to cases also makes any kind of serial killer aspect really awkward to implement, it's never going to feel quite right.

the game is fun but i played it 2 months ago and the performace issues are insane my pc was brandnew and can run other games at pretty high graphics but it just kept stuttering and lagging it was unplayable im planning on buying it again but im not so sure since i havent seen many patches
