I actually not only really liked this album, but I even turned some people into it. It kinda kicks some ass.

10:30 I think that same sample is used in the movie "The Green Mile" kzbin.info/www/bejne/e16UhIeYl7Cpeassi=n2lWTqjiZ6JW9A5E You can hear it at the beginning of this clip. I wonder where the sample is from?

IDK? 0:16 is from morning bell. 0:23 is from wolf at the door. 0:32 is from weird fishes. 0:35 is from on a Friday again but idk song name. 0:41 sorry I don’t remember that song name? I can’t be bothered to do the rest but how come most of these songs are my fav Radiohead songs😭✨

The article was written in 2012, when praising classic rock and bullying Justin Bieber was seen as the height of musical discourse. Leave those pop groups alone! Keep On Movin by 5ive is a banger and I won't pretend otherwise!

I’m shocked seeing three imaginary boys so high! Personally I think it’s probably the weakest link but it’s still catchy and fun at times.

Fun fact - in 2007 I vandalized Kfed's wiki page saying he was an atomic scientist who was sent to North Korea on a UN weapons inspection tour.

@ 7:45. "Hell even a landmark album in general. Can't think of any other landmark releases from 1978". I love "Chairs Missing" almost more than life itself but really? How about Captain Beefheart's major comeback with "Shiny Beast", Van Halen's iconic debut, Public Image Ltd.'s debut, The Police's debut, The Nina Hagen Band S/T, DMZ's S/T, The Stranglers "Back & White", The Shirts' S/T, Rush's "Hemispheres", Judas Priest's "Stained Glass", Magazine's debut, and on and on. 1978 kicked both 1977 & 1979's asses in a major way me thinks.

This is one heavy album, up there with anything put out by Blue Cheer or Sir Lord Baltimore! I saw an original vinyl copy of Attila in a mom-and-pop record store in Honolulu back in the mid-90s. I had no idea that was Billy Joel, but dang if I had a turntable then, I would have picked it up for the album cover alone!

First 3 album greatness. The Saints, Wire, The Cure, Radio Birdman, Eno, Robin Trower, Midnight Oil, The Angels, ACDC, The Beatles, Jimi just to name a few. GREAT

Other landmark albums from 1978 are Magazine’s Real life, Ultravox’s Systems of Romance, the Stranglers’ Black and White and albums by Kate Bush and Kraftwerk to mention a few.

I really liked your review and of course The Soft Bulletin is their masterpiece, but the hate over Yoshimi Part 2 is inexplicable. Besides being a great track and its great production work, if Steven is behind the drums it's already great. I could even listen to an entire album of his isolated drum tracks and it'd be perfect enough.

10:10 "whos to say who should live, who should die? Whos to say...not you or i" Powerful political messaging. Tyranny vibes. Love this album, my only gripe is spectral analysis being a kermit sui*ide song. And all the same is not really the best as jt should tbh
@danauburn11193 ай бұрын
Keep in mind "not just ukraine but guess Yemen's ok" more political messaging. Although julian keeps propping up war mongerers like hilary clinton and o-bomb-a, whom BOTH fund wars like ukraine, and Yemen. Weird, but okay julian ❤
