I love their album Four and their most recent one. I appreciate when a band isn't afraid of changing their sound.

As a big fan of Bloc Party I must say that it is sad to see that people look down so much on the changes that the band had after Silent Alarm, they left expectations too high after that great hit. His later albums are not bad, the problem is that people expected the same as in his debut. Many great songs (Even those from Hymns) are hidden under a rug because it is not the rock of its beginnings. Good video, you were quite sincere and I like that.

Intimacy is noticeably better with the bonus tracks added on to it, especially “Letter to My Son”. It’s blatantly Smiths-inspired, but it’s probably my favourite Bloc Party song, bar none.

The Intimacy playlist on Bloc Party's KZbin channel does have that and Your Visits Are Getting Shorter in it, but I just wanted to listen to the original albums for this video. I'll definitely get around to those bonus tracks though

Yes the recording is a bit low quality, I'm still just filming myself with my inbuilt Macbook camera in Photo Booth. If you have any suggestions for affordable video cameras then they would be appreciated, cos I think it'd be fun to do more videos in this kind of style, but I don't really wanna pay for a high-end filming setup unless I had a bigger audience and/or started doing KZbin full-time. I probably can keep working with what I've got for the time being though, if everyone's still happy with the content 👍

The chorus in Song for Clay (Dissapear Here) is in 7/4, so I'm guessing that's how it's "math rock".

Silent Alarm is actually one of if not their weakest album IMO. Cool video by the way!
