Maybe India should not be claiming development and technology of this system as it has been mostly done by France but India claiming they done everything when they have done no more than 10% of the system lucky to be even that as we all know indias tech is not theirs either bought with tech transfer or spies have done their jobs

The article is poor quality. As far as I can tell these jackets provide only Lvl3 ballistic protedtion, when lvl4 is what is needed. What does Level III body armor stop? Level 3 body armor is the first tier of bulletproof plate that protects against higher caliber rifle rounds, per NIJ standards. These rounds include the following: 7.62×39 123gr PS Ball (MSC) 7.62×51 147gr FMJ (M80) - up to 2850 ft/s 5.56x45 55gr (M193) up to 3150 ft/s* Clearly the DRDO armor is only Lvl3.

To all those who have ridiculed the ALH. Please find out how many F-35 fighter jets of USA has crashed! It is touted as the most modern fighter jet in the world and is the pride of USA! As per details available on internet, 11 F-35 jets have crashed since 2018! But nobody ridicules that fighter jet! Nobody in this world has created anything in the world which cannot go wrong! Humans can only try ti prevent any mishap and reduce its occurence! There may be many causes like poor maintenance, pilot error, adverse climate, bird hits and many more reasons! Not just design flaws and manufacturing errors!
