interesting project. what concerns me is maybe cats or other predators climbing up the pole. what experience do you guys have with cats climbing up the pole?

I'd love to get one of these 4 chamber bat houses, but I would want to mount it on a pole. Would I have to bury the pole into the ground or are there any poles with a flat base, that can sit flush on the surface of the ground?

I want to thank you with all my heart for making this video 🙏 I suffer from severe chiroptophobia. It has destroyed my life. I don’t go outside anymore. At times, I’ve struggled to go to work or even to the store. I can’t do simple task like getting the mail or walking my children to school. I honestly love bats. I think they are incredible. I want so desperately to be able to leave my house again someday, to enjoy the outdoors, to hike, and camp again. I have been in treatment for 6 months this year. I was just driving home from treatment, wondering if this life is worth living, feeling the most desperate despair. I just want to go outside again! This is very cool to see. I love these little night sky puppies. I do have a question about bat houses. Do they prefer building mounted houses, pole mounted houses or either is of equal success or one of each Trying to go for the most appealing options for bats. Like bat magnets if you know what I mean. Nothing bad. They will be big multi chamber house. Between four to seven chambers. We have mainly big brown bats around here in Kentucky. Any help, information or experience is highly appreciated and thank you.

We have big brown bats and some little brown bats around here. Not these kind of numbers but I would love to eventually have a colony this size in some of these houses. It would be awesomeness.
