I would recommend to avoid practising it during menstruation.

Completed day 9th i am 65 old little hard for me so I have to take short rest in between so my question is that is it okay or not

It's absolutely okay to take short rests, especially when you're listening to your body! Yoga is all about finding your own pace, so make sure to do what feels right for you.
