Great question and they change up the penalties every so often. Recently no burpees and designated penalty loop.

Set the record button to turn on/off with one push. No need to record between unless looking for filler shots. Hockey stick in camelback down one of tube holes. Working since the first Mudder.

Love the day and night transitions. I have a Go Pro that I took last year but it ran out of battery before we were done. What’s the trick? So you just carry multiple backup batteries? Do you only turn it on sporadically? I want to be prepared this year.
@rem6a Жыл бұрын
Great question and one plaguing lots of people. Setup the camera (setting) to one button record. Allows pushing record button once (3 beeps) and camera recording, hold down until 4 beeps to turn off. Save SD card space and editing time when home. Plus the running portion typically not needed to edit event (unless fun natural obstacle). Also add RainX to lens to keep mud and water off. Hit me up if I can help further.

Damn I miss this. Was my first Spartan Race as a whole and just wanted to see if I could do it so I tried the beast no prep time. 7-8 hours later pulled it off. Went on to get the trifecta that year. Really miss doing these. No covid, no bs, just you, the course, whatever pals you're able to get up off their ass, and the folks around ya. Sorry to say Killington of September 11th 2021 may have been my last hurrah, since it only takes one fuckwit not getting tested to screw over your shot of doing anything athletic in the future. Unless there's a shortcut for mitigating asthma or something, that'll be a ducking miracle since I sure as hell wasn't before. Nowadays can't run a damn mile without doubling over from my lungs telling me to go F myself and feeling like I'm getting stabbed with a rusty serrated kitchen knife. Anyone got any ideas on how to get around that? Too many doors are closed because my current inability to do as much as I used to.

congrats on finishing the super. meh video due to editing. here are some tips: - stop with the fade. it's distracting and annoying. - there is no need to show the obstacle more than once. best to use one and MAYBE two short highlight clips from one obstacle. - too long of a video. is this a vlog or obstacle highlights? pros: short 3 second intro (its good to keep an intro less than 5 seconds), good colors, high quality, decent camera angle, short clips. overall: good filming, bad editing. this could've been a decent 3-4 min video. congrats on finishing the super.
