Did you stitch all the way around up to where you started or up to te stitch before the one where you started?

I was following along and understanding very well until the last few minutes when you split the front piece down the middle. At that point I’m think why not just start out from a larger size from the get-go?

Oh, wow. Decades ago this was the type of rag rug i tried to imitate and figure out how to make (i think the two colors look so pretty together) but i ended up creating two different methods and finding several others along the way. How nice to finally find this! Thank you for sharing and teaching!

Long ago I made these and was giving a tool made out of a toothbrush handle, the bristles were cut off , that end was sharpened to a dull rounded point, the other end had a slit cut out to put the thread through . You used it look a crochet needle! It worked great!

I’ve watched a couple of episodes of Sewing With Nancy and fell in love with her sweet and delicate way of teaching. Even though I’m a rough around the edges kind of guy, she captivated me! Like Mr. Rodgers, she taught with gentleness and acceptance. What a wonderful woman and beautiful soul! I found out today that she had passed and I’m devastated…. Even though the tears flow as I type away, I know she is with Jesus; creating the most beautiful tapestry for new citizens of Heaven to enjoy. To her husband and sons, I know you’re proud of her and the inspiration she brought and still brings to this world. You will be missed dearly Nancy… ❤

I had no idea Nancy passed away 😱 I have been watching the reruns on Create Tv . I have been drawn to fabtics as i do carpentry and cobbler works mostly carpentry. Nancy was a sewing artist as Bob Ross was to his many paintings. Her talents is outstanding she leaves us with her gift of Sewing 🧵🪡 with Nancy & to sharing Sewing to all of us. I’m having difficulties with this pattern. The sides don’t wrap around and the adjustments I made don’t seem to help. Do you have any tips? Kind of seems like this pattern is only meant for small people. Not average size people.

What's the purpose in sharing a project where you can't get the pattern, even though it's indicated in the description that one exists? And furthermore, what makes it worse is that interested parties have indicated that it's hard to find and would like to get it, but they get no response. This is not cool.

I was able to find this on the Libby app. I'm so excited to learn how to sew, but it looks so intimidating. I'm so glad a resource like this exists!

Oh my, I had ever thought a personality like Nancy Zieman would ever die. I started watching her shows in the mid 80's from my home in Northern British Columbia, Canada. Tho I never did any sewing or any sort of thing, I just always enjoyed tuning in at 5:30 am to watch her shows, spent years always going back to video clips and such because I could never find her show on our channels anymore, they were, really, my first introduction to asmr type episodes, always soothing and very interesting. I wish I had known at the time she died, she will be missed. I'm glad her shows and her work will live on.

I have all those panels but just one of each. Darn, wish I had seen this years ago. I am always late to the party....LOL
