The neighborhood I love the most is, of course, the UPPER WEST SIDE of Manhattan

Little too much new money for my taste. True Old South communities should be considered for this list: -Madison, GA -Thomasville, GA -Aiken, SC -Eufaula, AL -Beaufort, SC -LaGrange, GA

Boston is great but not for families with kids. Schools are not good. Unless they have means for private schools. It’s great for singles and retirees. Families friendly towns are mostly around the city. Belmont, Brookline, Lexington, Winchester, Newton, Wellesley, Weston, Andover area, Sharon, Dover, Sudbury, Concord

Chevy Chase, MD includes a super dense neighborhood (fun fact, it ranked as the most densely populated census tract in the US for years-not sure if it still is or not) of high rise condos and apartments, it's not all single family.

This is a true story, the Money Pit. We lived it. Do yourselves a favor and dont even think about buying a house that needs a little TLC.😐

It’s sad to say the house in “home alone” was recently listed for sale and they revealed the inside of the home is not the same as the inside in the movie. Even if it was, they completely remodeled it so it looks absolutely nothing like the movie anymore; not even a little.

The Hamptons are a series of very beautiful historical villages, with gardens, trees, and beaches. However, many people who live there, and VISIT there are extremely entitled, snooty, and judgmental if you’re not as rich as them, they show off their wealth, and are (most likely) extremely insecure. Beautiful place……MANY people who are NOT beautiful. 🤷🏼♂️🤔😎🥂

Yeah Newport is great and all........for the rich. Parking is $15 for a half day. Mansion tours are $35 per person per mansion. Its near impossible to drive anywhere because of the ridiculous amount of traffic. I've lived in RI my whole life and I can count the number of times I've gone to Newport on both hands due to these factors.

My late parents lived in Wellesley. It has everything that you would want: a commuter train into the heart of Boston, very good schools, amazing services for senior citizens including "lifetime learning" where retired professors from Boston's universities teach courses for Wellesley's well-educated citizens, beautifully-maintained public areas, participatory local government, plentiful shopping, and excellent restaurants. Expensive but worth it!

I grew up in a modest 2 bedroom apartment in Brookline. If it went on the market today, it would sell for over $1millon. Can’t afford to live there, today.

Several safe assumptions to make if you win the lottery and reasons why you should wait the absolute max amount of time before claiming. 1. Taxes will be 50-65% of the total winnings meaning you usually only have half, and will continue to be taxed for any amount remaining. 2. Setting up investments and structured accounts like whole life policies, LLCs, Shell companies and non-profits are usually the safest way to reduce the yearly tax. 3. Passive income is the absolute best way to keep your wealth. Without your money multiplying itself, it will disappear very quickly. 4. Tricking yourself or continue to live the way you did before you won is the absolute safest option until a few years have passed you become more acquainted with larger sums and costs.
