We've been watching Game Grumps now for more than a decade; we know you're not the type to slow down to figure out what's next... even though here you suggest doing the same thing is what makes CV1 better than CV2? we also know you're not really big on exploring -- Knuckles' infinite jump in Sonic Boom notwithstanding, primarily because you just wanted to take further piss out of a game where your LP also included at least two sections where the video editor pointed out all the lazy technical BS. This isn't to say I dont agree with you that CV2 is an inferior game; it is. But you had me til the last. I personally LOVE exploration, and my innate curiosity keeps me on the edge of my mental seat with "how long do I have to wait before I can come back here and see where that path goes" -- *I gotta know this shit NOW*, man! Is it padding? Maybe. But the replay value of "this skill lets me do this, let's see what weird shit I can accomplish with it in places other than intended" certainly makes up for it. And since every version of Metroidvania-style CV since Symphony has made multiple endings hide behind which specific criteria are met at major points in the game -- *met only by exploring the area in creative ways* -- there is further reason to do that "work"; when we get the Upside-Down Castle in SOTN, we literally got the whole map flipped over and attached to a singular point, and thus we could have a *200%* clear rate. That shit was mindblowing. So get off my ass because I like looking around more than you do.
