Ducati has raced the TT but they generally can’t put up with the stresses of the race and fall apart! This particular bike, the engine size is too big.

@paulfarrell184 Yes, Glenn Irwin has dominated the nw200 on ducatis. Davey Todd is riding a v2 in this years supersport races, I believe. I don't think there is any appetite on Ducati's part for an official race team/entry im the TT at this point. At this point, ducati reliability (or lack of) is a bit of a trope (current gen bikes arent raced at tt). Arguably the best sports bike on the market, current wsbk and moto gp world champions. Would love to see one of the big names on a v4r around the island.

@@mikefandango294 It's very serious to run on a track like this without safety. many died here. But if it is the regulation not to race without electronic aids, the choice is up to the driver who decides to take the risk. You can very well remove any electronic aid that Ducati has. But here I believe that too much power on the Ducati Panigale could seriously be dangerous without electronic help. is that so?

They have but generally fall apart and don’t last a full TT. Foggy was the last to win on a Ducati. In his words “it was in fucking bits”when he finished. The TT is brutal in the way they keep them at max revs for minutes, unlike moto GP it’s for seconds.
