FYI, if you get caught with a pick set without a locksmiths license you will be arrested for being in possession of burglary tools. ❤

Wielki uznania mistrzu za otwarcie tej skomplikowanej wkładki. Pełen szacun, pozdrowienia z Polski. To chyba twoja najtrudniejsza wkładka którą spikowałeś, patrząc po twoim filmikach.

Have a good time my friend, I follow you from Iran, and because I don't know English and the lack of facilities, I can't understand well. Is there someone who can help me and send me some of these tutorials with Farsi dubbing. Thank you.

Such a nice lock, even 7 years later. I don't get why people here are so angry about you having managed to pick it. Especially 7 years later with 3D printers having become cheap and mainstream, this system really shows its strengths regarding copy protection.

If you had two security pins, and for each one you have to release some tension (or manually counter-rotate) to release a false set, wont that just fully release the other security pin that youve set? Then you'd have to go back and forth and never get anywhere? I'm guessing the solution to this is to trial-and-error until you end up setting the deepest true set first, then going at the pin with a less deep false set, so that you can safely release tension on the latter without dropping the former? But then what if the true set of one pin is deeper than the false set of the other pin, but the false set of the first pin is less deep than the true set of the other pin? Won't we just go round in circles and keep undoing our work?

Why does the manufacturer make this Click action? Wouldn't it be better to have no Click at all so the thief wouldn't even know if it's set or not? Key will keep all pins at place while lockpick can keep in place only one pin, so if all other pins would just drop back there would be no possible way to open the Lock except with a Key, so why does the manufacturer give the backdoor to open the lock?

I'm fairly new to picking but here's my understanding of it. Cheap Chinese locks with loose sloppy tolerances tend to not give feedback at all, and it's just mush. That *can* make it take slightly longer to pick vs a better lock with only standard pins. But just a handful of seconds at best. Those loose tolerances make it vulnerable and very easy to set the pins, even raking security pins can be really easy. Better locks with tighter tolerances will give much stronger feedback and have a more clear binding order, but that comes with being much harder to pick. You have to be very precise with tension and pick pressure to avoid dropping or oversetting pins when dealing with spools. They won't rake open as easily, and opening by raking alone is virtually impossible with security pins. So that's the trade off as I understand it. A good lock will put up a serious fight even if you can feel exactly what's going on inside of it. The ones loose enough to not have feedback, you won't need it. They'll open if you poke it with a paperclip.

@@ians5337 but wouldn't it be nicer to have a lock with pins that drop even when in tension? Key holds all pins at once in place, lockpick one by one. If one pin popped it has to fall back if there is nothing holds it
