your builds are the best on yt imo but unsustainable unfortunately, can you do an instance count in that base together with the mistlands and ashlands (if you've done an ashlands extension)? I bet you're laggy ah there, i mean every terrain manipulation is an instance count together with all the build pieces. I love huge builds like these but unfortunately this game is poorly optimized for them.

I'm always impressed by the elegance in what you do. From jumping off the boat and building a dock to serve the boat where it sits, to the beautiful geometry and use of space, to the roof structure of your main building, to the nice cool music to pass the time to... this entire build (and the video that presents it) is a masterpiece. Thank you, Sir, for another beautiful and inspiring build as well as a delightful way to spend 23 minutes. Cheers.

Do you have a source for any save files or plan builds of these. Its beautiful but by the time it finished my head hurt conceptualizing how many hours it'd take me. (40 or so I reckon)

how do you dig that close to water without hitting water? that's the problem I always encounter when trying to dig a 'basement'

The water is always at the same height so just make sure to start the build higher and plan for the depth.

The best part of this installment is, without question, the care and attention paid to the terraforming. Creating that smooth, gentle incline behind the base, and then shoring up the front entrance? Just marvelous.

Wow this building looks great, however I was kind of mislead by the title thought it was going to be a base in the Ashlands. On another note I wanted to ask, how did you get the aerial shots of you building? Second character, or some sort of camera mod?

Instantly killed the next time you go back and 12 deathsquitos are waiting to sting you and 22 imps are standing there. 0 defenses. I mean the build is gorgeous but it isn't an outpost and unless you constantly have the ghost hack on you will be killed pretty fast.

He's literally using materials from the ashlands, deathsquito's wont even be able to touch you at that level. Hell I'm still at plains level and those things are so easy to beat

i have a half base with only hard wood walls (spikey) on plains (its literally flax and barley farm surrounded by a wall) and squitos or other enemies wont even dare to spawn in the proximity so dont think there is a reason to build much defenses

Deathsquitos are not a big deal, a have a huge field in Plains and I just entered the Mistlands, deathsquitos never attacked my farm. Only tars and fullings sometimes, but it takes 5-10 seconds to beat them

@@stephen6605 becuase when squitos spawn they dont fly around, they only fly to you when you are in their attack radius

Just use godmod for materials, farming this shit for another 100 hours is not worth it at all.

@@VladFrol-z6p doesn't take that long. Mats in Ashland drop so much you'll need more bag space. Flametal is the only bottleneck, but like most zones only initially. Wood and stone (from ashlands) you don't even need to harvest since mobs/effects pop a ton of it for you when running around (Ashlands is built for legging it as mobs mainly give up). Now try building that outside the Plains biome 😉
