For people asking for layout dimensions : watching this in 0.5 speed, here's what I've gathered Please note that those are dimensions for wood squares/rectangles. Initial big square (0:25 to 1:08) : 20x20 Left section (1:09-1:24) : 8 Middle section (1:24-1:33) : 5 Right section (maths) : 7 Bottom rectangle in middle section (1:34 - 1:43): 5x2 Bottom rectangle in right section (1:47 - 2:06) : 7x4.5 Rectangle right above that one (2:07 - 2:40) : 6x5.5 Bottom rectangle in left section (maths) : 8x4.5 Rectangle right above that one (2:41 - 2:55) : 6x5.5 Top middle rectangle (3:05 - 3:10) : 5x2

On my first playthrough and I found this easy to follow and build. I've not even got iron yet and I still managed to build this (minus the things you unlock with iron). Built this in a meadows biome close to a swamp and plains so I will be using this base for a long time to come. Having such a nice base early on has made this game even more enjoyable. Thanks for posting this.

Well made. It’s not over complicated and fairly normal to build just with details of the floor planning and framing. This is a very nice starter house with much room to expand and use. I like the basement in it as well. I know exactly where I can do a tear down rebuild and put a build inspired by this in its place as a compound. Really nice build here.

You say midgame but almost all of this looks manageable early game. As late as the swamp for iron for the stonecutter. Simple but open ended for creativity and decoration. Great job

Nice build! So I have to ask, is the camera a secondary client you have in freecam locked on and rotating slowly? Or is that some sort of freecam mod that allows you to move freely with a static 3rd person camera?

I use 2 computers. One for building and one for rotating freecam.

How do people make these amazing bases without hella workbenches everywhere? I'm on console and in the iron age, I'm just assuming people use mods because I've seen other content where they can build with no workbenches. I'm confused and need help. I'm a console peasant so try and be polite please
