You can't beat a Nursing career. I believe it is the best career choice as far as: Stress, pay, job satisfaction, relationships, skills you learn, versatility, schooling etc. I served as Hospital Corpsman in the Navy and I'm now looking at getting my ADN and becoming an RN. It's a fast track program full-time which is 15-18 months long... starting at 72,000 a year, that is well worth the investment and I'm absolutely psyched... FYI: being a Murse is okay 👍 😂

Wow I’m an LPN with a BA in Psychology, work on a dementia unit in a Nursing Home and make 5 dollars more then you. I’ve been a Nurse 24 years though. That’s sad. You should be making more in an ER. You ER nurses know your stuff. Welcome to nursing. I usually pick up bonuses like 300 bucks to stay 3 hours. Plus I work 16 hours of overtime every week.

Kudos to you for your pay transparency! More of us should be doing this. I am making 65$ an hour with 37 years of experience. ED, OB, Peds . Currently working in an ED.

Hi Sierra, great vlog, thanks for making them! Nursing is a very challenging profession and I salute you and thank you for your dedication since there are many similarities to my former profession in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). And speaking of the CAF, the Global/ABC TV show Combat Hospital does a really good job in depicting military medicine in the CAF. On the civilian side, don't know if you've seen the Canadian NBC/Global series Nurses filmed in my hometown of Hamilton in the building (standing in for St. Mary's Hospital) where my GP practices with the McMaster University Faculty of Medicine Family Practice?

Your dog is beautiful, i used to work 1 week on of 7x10 hours shifts and 1 week off,so draining! The camping is so scenic

I was lucky to be a LPN working in the ER for 1 year. It was great experience. I’m half way through my RN bridge program and I’m definitely going to stay as an ER nurse 🤘🏽
